New information is surfacing about Mitt Romney and his 2016 plans following the 2012 presidential candidate's nationally-covered speech on Thursday morning.
The former Mass. Governor and Republican nominee for President spoke out against Donald Trump, calling the Republican front-runner a "phony" and "fraud." He urged Republicans to unite behind another candidate, yet declined to indicate which candidate he would be supporting.
An in-depth look at Romney's campaign finance activity, however, shows that the former candidate may be gearing up to take another shot at the White House.
In late January and early February of 2016, Romney's campaign finance entities, which by law are subject to FEC regulations, were both reactivated with amended campaign statements.
FEC records indicate that Romney's former campaign committee, Romney for President, and Romney's affiliated PAC, Romney Victory Fund, were both reactivated earlier this year, making them legally able to solicit donations and organize for his presidential campaign.

The Christian Times Newspaper spoke with several campaign finance professionals and campaign finance attorneys to further understand this move.
One told us that Romney "would only be making these changes" if he in fact "was going to run for President in 2016."
Another, a former McCain finance staffer indicated that this evidence shows "without a doubt" that Romney has plans to run as a Republican this year.
In the days and weeks following Romney's Trump-bashing, it will be interesting to see whether or not the 2012 candidate makes any further moves to run in 2016.

This is the bombshell and a wake up call for Cruz as well as Trump. They have no intention of allowing either one of them to win the nomination, so they are using Ted to bring Trump down and then make sure Cruz doesn’t get the required delegates either. So, in steps the bastard Mitt Romney to win a brokered convention. I can’t find enough dirty words to call these back stabbing as*holes.

For a tiny look at the corruption in DC look up the net worth of your Senator when he went to DC and then one-two years later. On a senator’s salary no one doubles or triples their net worth that rapidly without payoffs coming from somewhere.

The really disgusting aspect of the Trump KKK stuff is that when Cruz and Romney imply Trump is racist they are intentionally smearing his supporters with that same broad brush with the intent of intimidating us into not voting for him. Pure and simple: It’s Alinskite voter suppression. Principled conservatism? Hardly.

Exactly!!!!!! Then it’ll be some variation of Romney/Rubio, or perhaps Romney/Cruz, but I suspect it’ll be Rubio. It doesn’t matter either way though, because they’ll toss it to Hillary, unless both sides of the Uniparty agree to completely rig the election for R&R in an attempt to keep the peons and serfs from revolting.

Agree. The debates are all about sabotaging Trump.
Trump is representing millions of people. He should have a say in the debate format. It is so rigged against him, yet he still prevails.
Historically, the RNC has supported the front runner which is why Trump didn’t think he should encourage campaign contributions. But everything should be on the table now to win. Trump never expected the RNC to go against him and then for Romney to attempt to enter the race? Romney is not the leader of the Republican party. Far from it. Trumps supporters will NEVER vote for Romney.
I’ll vote for Cruz. I’ll vote for Trump. I won’t vote for Romney so he can take another dive for the ‘RAT nominee. That’s BS.

Reason I say this is it seems to me the ticket they want now is Cruz/Rubio or Cruz/Kasich.
Nope. They establishment want Cruz to block Trump, have nobody get 1,200 delegates and then install their ticket of choice at the convention. Romney/Cruz and Ryan/Cruz top the list, IMO.

I agree, and under President Hillary, I expect the 2nd amendment to be reinterpreted. Once the government has no fear of it’s citizens, and I think they have none now for the most part, we become totally subject to their every whim.
We are merely a means of production for them to line their pockets, and increase their power over us.
Desperate times.
