I'm starting to think this guy might not vote for Trump.
Skip to 8:50 of the clip below for the interview. You already know where he stands on Trump if you read his Facebook post this morning, but the video's worth watching for a few reasons. One: Although Sasse acknowledges that Super Tuesday and March 15th will be "significant" in deciding the nominee, the unmistakable sense here is that it's going to be Trump and conservatives need to begin preparing for that reality. Is that a fair conclusion to draw? Given this AP report of early voting in Florida, I'm thinking ... yeah.
The Florida primary is weeks away, but tens of thousands of voters headed to the polls Monday for early voting in this critical contest that could make-or-break the presidential aspirations of native son, Sen. Marco Rubio...
Absentee and early voting are popular in Florida. Projections show that more than half of those voting in the primary will have cast their ballots before the March 15 primary. So far, more than 303,000 Republican voters and more than 261,000 Democratic voters have submitted their absentee ballots, according to University of Florida political scientist Daniel Smith, who is tracking statewide absentee ballot returns...
Smith said almost 44 percent of the absentee Republican votes so far are from people who did not vote in 2012.
Trump is comfortably ahead in every poll of Florida right now and it's practically a given that he'll clean up among formerly disaffected voters who have decided to participate this year. That means he's already banking votes and building a lead in Florida that Rubio will somehow need to overcome on March 15th....

Wow. Probably holds true for '08 as well. The result: President Barack Hussein Mohammed al-Obama for 7+ miserable years.
He’s a Harvard Oxford boy who got a degree in philosophy. Parlayed connections and government jobs and was even appointed to be an advisor for DHB by Bush. Then the Perfumed prince ran in a primary and used a few underhanded tricks to defeat repub Osborne. The Pilot of that navy patrol plane hit by a Chinese fighter.
And now this mangina is convinced he’s something hot. He’ll wind up as a nominee in the future im sure.
DHS,,, don’t know how the hell that B got there
The biggest event is the numbers.
Left to you. Figure the numbers left and right vs 2012.
This idiot has not a clue about 1860, 1856 or his Democrat Klansmen.
Harvard boy, degree in government, philosophy and such. Probably means couldn’t be in law school.
Guys like that can be a dem as easy as be a repub. No morals. He’ll probably be our nominee someday.
Just don’t understand these idiot establishment types cutting off their nose to spite their face. I guess Obama taught them well.
And who the hell is this pimple Sasse anyway? Compare his creations and success with Trumps. Also why are we hearing about some young do-nothing senator from some backwater state??
What’s the backstory here?
He absolutely campaigned as a Tea Party Conservative. I listened to several of his campaign speeches and was very impressed, I thought he was much better than Cruz, had charisma even. Oh well......
Man, Sasse was the insurgent in the race. He was target #1 for McConnell. It was the topic of a lot of media. McConnell was blackballing anyone consultants who helped Sasse. He’s one of the good ones.
Sasse is campaigning to be the next Lindsey Graham. I’m sure the globalists/open borders crowd have quite a file on him.
Regarding the Florida absentee story: I read a twitter feed from someone, some weeks ago, that Trump had invested a bit in recruiting US Citizens living abroad, particularly in New Zealand and Australia, to register and vote absentee.
I do not know if this is true, but just one more rumor to throw into the mix.
He’s a brilliant young conservative. You Trumplodytes are beyond parody :(
When osborne mentioned the islam loving grover norquist as a friend of his in an interview. I knew sasse won at that point.
“McConnell was blackballing anyone consultants who helped Sasse. Hes one of the good ones.”
He’s pure internationalist establishment as proven by this. He’s pure Harvard BS academic. His speeches mean nothing.
“Hes a brilliant young conservative.”
Ohhhh,,, THAT must be why he voted for fast track for TPP. lol
Yeah but he’s crossed Trump now so he has to go under the bus with all of the other conservatives.
He’s pure internationalist establishment because he won’t get behind Dear Leader?
I guess he has to go under the bus with illegal alien Cruz, has-been Thomas Sowell, the losers and hacks of talk radio, the empty suited con man Ronald Reagan, and all of the others Trumpers have dismissed.
Sasse can speak out against Trump. From a small state and in a safe seat.
