Trump said he would host his own Iowa town hall to raise money for veterans and let other networks cover it. One clear sign of the gravity of tonight's development is the sense of confusion that is swirling throughout Fox. The network is split between Kelly's allies like Brit Hume and conservative anchors that are furious that Kelly - who graces the cover of Vanity Fair this month - has become the face of the network. An anchor fumed that Kelly hosted Michael Moore on her program tonight and the lefty filmmaker defended her against Trump. "That would be like Rachel Maddow laughing along with Charles Koch as he trashed Hillary Clinton!" the anchor said. One producer speculated that Fox could go "National Review" on Trump and start attacking him...
No matter how loudly GOP candidates complained about Fox's loutish politics in private, none risked taking Ailes on in public for fear of losing access to this crucial constituency - until Trump, that is. Even if Trump's boycott backfires, he's already achieved a historic victory: Exploding the myth that a Republican candidate can't openly challenge Fox.

I don’t know if Kelly is going left, I think it’s personal between her and Trump. I give her credit for going after Hillary on Benghazi and the emails. Aggressive is her style, I like it when she’s going after someone I don’t like, so I’m not going to whine about her when it’s someone I do like. But Trump has played her like a fiddle. She was barely able to keep from crying last night.
But Trump has played her like a fiddle. She was barely able to keep from crying last night.
She played on Trump and got skunked. She should have been professional and she would not be in the mess she is in.
Her crying...you’re kidding! Did she cry before or after the interview with Moore?
She’s playing you.
She didn’t cry, but for all the world she looked like she was about to. Mrs. Hugin thought the same thing, and she’s very good at reading people. I don’t think it was fake, I think she almost lost it. Then Moore spent the whole time sucking up and flirting with her, and she was eating that up and laughing by the end of it.
The dynamics will be different, and when I get to hear what some who haven’t been heard much get to say, I find some of their ideas very interesting.
Do you truly believe that this debate will allow them all to talk about their polices/positions and NOT just trash Trump?
‘Why should Trump grant that to Cruz when heâs killing him nationally?’
True — smarter to simply out-campaign him until there’s a shift in polling.
I just like to see courage and get candidates vetted.
FRegards ....
I love a leader that goes directly to the American people and is willing to give the MSM the finger
Good ideas are worth considering, whether or not they come from my preferred candidate. I’m interested the different points of view on how to deal with the Daesh, limit the Federal government, etc. I don’t have anything more specific for you. I’m fairly certain every Freeper wants the same things, albeit in differing order of priorities.
Will they do what they say they’ll do? Did Trump do everything he told people he would do?
Interested in
I’m blaming my errors on a bothersome tooth. Will have to come up with a different excuse once it’s pulled. :)
Donald Trump was the most prominent boycotter. Most of his voters also boycotted Faux news. I did and will continue to do so.
