I often wondered what are you going to do when Trump wins?

Silver is a flaming libtard but he did get the 2012 elections right. However, he missed on the GOP landslide 2 years ago and was off by a few states.

It’s worth noting that 538 has been the big cheerleader of saying Iowa and New Hampshire doesn’t matter. 538 is a reliable source IF you realize that it openly says what the Uniparty wants, and not necessarily what the voters want.

This suggests that the GOP-e plan to let Trump or Cruz win Iowa, then start forging the election results against Trump/Cruz once one of them drops out.

This is coming from the Richard Viguerie organization. Richard Viguerie is a long-time heavy hitter and fundraiser in conservative circles. My guess -- but I do not know -- is that his deep pockets are backing Cruz. So, this is hardly a "disinterested" opinion.

More TDS. Just like on Fox today, The deranged Meeginn and Brit “Dullard” Hume talking of how ineffective the Palin endorsement will be, and how the negative things toward Cruz like the Iowa governors remarks will have on Cruz. Meeginn is dwelling on planet Wishful Thinking as is Hume

Cruz has a very good chance in Iowa, for what little it’s worth.

Given how poorly Cruz has done
today, the only thing to reasonably
forecast is that Goldmann Sachs
will give Cruz and his wife
MILLIONS$$$$ for faux-conservative Cruz voting to
allow SECRET ObamaTRADE to vote to then pass.

With Iowa, what matters is who is reported to have won not who ultimately ends up with the most delegates after the precinct, county, congressional district and state conventions. So Iowa is very hard to predict as you are predicting press reports.

Very good..keep in mind no Iowa Polls really since Trump started unfairly trashing Cruz. I have not seen a iowa poll post debate

I really think Trump lost ground, am speaking pre Palin endorsement. There should be a Iowa poll coming out showing us movement prior to Palin but post debate

As for Palin I thought she made a fool of herself today, and I did not hear the old Palin applause roar , and virtually no applause as she was speaking.

I think Cruz wins Iowa

Doubt it matters much who wins Iowa, I have to think both Trump and Cruz are in this for the long haul, as each of the others keep falling by the wayside.

After much serious thought, I have come to the conclusion that ...........someone will win in Iowa, after reading carefully the posts and opinions of many on FR, I have determined that the consensus is that this means everything............or nothing. One thing Iam 100% sure of is that close to 50 % will be very happy and close to 50% will be unhappy. That is my prediction and I feel fairly, well somewhat confident in it’s accuracy, sort of.

Agree that Cruz will win Iowa, which is what makes him virtually unelectable in the general election...pandering to the evangelicals. Same as happened to Santorum and Huckabee.

Wishful thinking.

Trump has more that double Cruz’s numbers in the polls.

However, if you do not believe that then just compare the rallies.

Who has bigger numbers of people their rallies? Trump has thousands just about every event.

Cruz has one hundred to two hundred. It’s not even remotely close.

Was that pollster prediction before Sarah Palin endorsement and governor Branstad’s exhorting Iowans to defeat Rafael Cruz, or after?
