If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.
Cruz.
No to Carly. I wouldn’t want that b**** within 10 miles of the Oval Office.
But Cruz — a resounding YES!
When Cruz told New York money men Gay Marriage wasn't in his Top 3 concerns he lost me.

I don’t care about how “conservative” someone is on paper. This country needs leadership and optimism to turn things around - and Ted Cruz ain’t gonna do that (or even have the chance to do that, since he’ll never beat the RAT machine).
I do like him as VP, however.
No one else is acceptable in either position, to me.
Trump because he doesn’t just talk the Constitution, he lives it.
1st Amendment, no politically approved speech, just the truth.
2nd Amendment, has a carry permit in New York.
10th Amendment, wants to send education back to the states, other issues.
He’s a shining example of capitalism at work, is self-funded so no strings, and is our only hope to defeat the establishment.
Trump.

Obama I mean Trump!

Yes, I know all three have serious questions, but the VP slot is for building a ticket to win...
All three bring something Cruz needs.
Not a politician yet, bump.
Trump.
The hero of the common man who owns a high rise on 5th Avenue in New York and the patriot who is foreign born guy with ties to Goldman Sachs.
Those look like the best choices out there.

I’m sure Trump has Gay Marriage down at the bottom of his priorities to address.

Cruz is the new Goldwater.
