I have a weird proposition for you today. Consider this Halloween-related.
If you had to choose between Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz as the next president, which one would you pick and why?
If you're a very conservative Republican, this may not be such a daunting prospect. If you're a moderate of either party or someone on the farther left, you're more likely to be appalled.
But in the wake of a debate in which Cruz emerged as an increasingly popular candidate in the crowded GOP field, and in which Trump and Carson remain the front-runners, I think it's a reasonable question. None of the Above is not an option in this case.....

Florence Nightingale was born in Florence, Italy, where her parents were vacationing, but she never claimed to be Italian.
Cruz. Trump says great things, but his history proves him a liar.
Trump is a can do person. He gets things actually built on schedule and UNDER budget. He is one of the best builders in the country. The Trump wall on the southern border will be amazing.
Walls works in Israel. The Vatican is surrounded by walls. The Hungarians just built a wall to stop the hordes coming from Syria, and is stopping them cold.
The “moderates” are just liberals who don’t like the word “liberal”.
Cruz. Because he IS a TRUE CONSERVATIVE! And I trust that he won’t appoint backstabbing pretend conservatives to the court. Do any of you Trump followers even briefly think about that? Carson is nice and very smart, but there is something that bothers me, his affinity for Al Sharpton. I mean, how long has he been Republican? That same question bothers me about Trump. He is just recently a Republican. It’s a long haul until it is decided.
LOL never mind.
Just keep repeating your Hype and Change mantra. LOL
Stealing “hype and change”
Anti-Trump folks can’t handle the facts...don’t waste your time trying ;-)
They’re stuck down in the 4% weeds. Can’t see the big picture.
Actually, I never watched his show or even cared for him one way or the other until he entered the race. Your problem is that you ignore the constitution about Natural Born Citizen.
I am just practicing my keyboard speed ;)
I know perfectly well you can never straighten a dog’s tail.
I like the US Constitution, evidently Cruz doesn’t and wants to make anyone that has a American mom (or dad) a Natural Born Citizen. The definition of a NBC (IMHO) is tad more then just having a US citizen mom. If just having a US mom (or a US dad) is all you need then there are millions of NBC living all over the world. Particularly in places like Iraq, Korea or Vietnam where US forces served as occupying troops. Or in Iran and Saudi Arabia where rich Arabs “bought” US “trophy wives”. According to Cruz all of the children of the above are Natural Born Citizens.
I think Cruz might be okay as AG. That’s about all I am willing to give up.
Uep, Ted is an anchor baby. That explains his biased position in Visas.
Ha Ha!
Maybe for Canada since Ted was born in Canada and spend the first four years of his life living in Canada as a citizen of Canada.
Many of those people who usually consider working "with Democrats, when necessary, to get things accomplished" to be a weakness will, of course, abandon their so-called principles and go along with that because it's Trump.
In the context of TRUMP’s political donations, generally, it doesn’t particularly bother me. Which candidate has done the most to expose her?
And which candidate has done the most to expose pay to play? This is his reason for refusing to accept money from anyone with an interest beyond an ordinary citizen.
Thank you for reminding me, catfish. Last night, a Cruz supporter on a Jeb thread (I believe. It may have been Rubio or Carson) made a comment about acting like they could buy the presidency- or something to that effect. Maybe it was about Jeb’s upcoming ad buy.
Anyway, there was a Cruz thread at the same time, talking about how much money he’d raised. I felt sympathy for them, but made no comment.
Our political process is all screwed up.
I like that chart.
Big falsehood, so large no one believes it.
I’m not a “Cruz Birther”. In fact, I think it’s not unreasonable to say that the colonial era definition of Natural Born Citizen points squarely in favor of giving NBC status to Cruz.
However, given that the US Supreme Court has gone so far off the rails recently that Cruz himself has called for electoral oversight of the justices, what’s to stop them from embracing a different view, even claiming that they were redeeming themselves with a strict reading of the Constitution, blah blah blah, and knocking out the man who has pledged to reduce the power of the court making this very decision?
If Cruz is truly off the GOPe reservation and a genuine outsider, and will name the names and do what’s right if he is put in the White House, there is a Hell of a lot of power and money at stake on the Uniparty side. Why wouldn’t they use his birth as a weapon? Remember what’s at stake and they have zero shame when it comes to betraying conservatives when it counts.
Yeah, the birth thing worries me, no matter what I believe about it. The worrisome thing is who gets to decide.
