Lindsey Graham today called out fellow Republicans who “deny the science” on climate change. Graham was one of several candidates who spoke at the No Labels conference in New Hampshire today, and he made it clear he just doesn’t get Republican resistance to climate science.
He spoke of “business-friendly” solutions to the problem and said, “To my friends on the left who are making this a religion, you’re making a mistake. To my friends on the right who deny the science, tell me why.”

Earlier this year, Graham said he has no idea what the GOP’s environmental platform is and that Republicans should stop “arguing with the science.”

How about "climate change" has been occurring since the Earth was created. You really need to get out of the office sometime Lindsey and go to places that were once covered with volcanoes or see the beautiful natural rock formations in the middle of the deserts that were formed when the area was covered with oceans. What caused the end of the Ice Age? The Flintstonemobile? Climate change was occurring long before "scientists" with worthless college degrees decided to use it to create government subsidized livelihoods for themselves.
I hope they preserve his brain for future study.
I won’t deny the science if they find one. Right now, it’s mostly graphs drawn freehand on etch-a-sketch type software followed by pretend science to fill in the cause and effect.
But where I think a lot of political discussion of this issue falls short is on that very thing, cause and effect.
There has been a lot of wasted talk about the cause. We can concede that greenhouse gases are increasing in the atmosphere. Where we win is on effect. It just isn’t getting that much warmer. And the first little bit of warming that may exist over 30-50 years is more beneficial than harmful.
Basically, climate change is a three dressed up as a nine. And with the same problem that you’re being asked to pay for a nine, then back in the hotel room, she turns out to be a three, but your money is now with the pimp. That might be a good analogy to pursue as Democrats debate in Pimptown, U.S.A.

Actually, Twinkletoes, many have been saying why the "science" is anything but that - read a book or two by Mark Steyn and you'll know why your "conservative friends" think it is all BS.
It is hard to describe in words just how much the GOP friggin’ sucks.

We use SCIENCE to come to our conclusions...unless that science does not agree with our pre-determined conclusions. In that case, the science brought before us is the product of wild-eyed scientific posers with an agenda.
Did you really have to do that? My night is ruined, I was going to make a thyme, garlic and paprika roasted chicken, with green beans, and an heirloom tomato and avocado salad. Instead. I’ll go out and have a few drinks to numb my memory of that image. :)
