If Bernie wins the Democrat nomination, he will be a sitting duck in debates and ads for any Republican nominee with half a brain:

Bernie, you said: “You don’t necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants or of 18 different pairs of sneakers when children are hungry in this country.”

So let me get this straight, Bernie . . . you're going to set up an agency or a czar to determine how many kinds of deodorant, and how much of it, can be permitted by law?

Will you do the same with toilet paper? I mean look how many brands of toilet paper there are. Shall we just set up a monopoly of one company, or better yet, a government monopoly, to produce exactly the right amount of toilet paper, or otherwise limit the amount of toilet paper that gets produced?

Are you going to hire Michael Gruber to be the guy who figures out the correct amount of toilet paper that people should be allowed to use? He's smart. He teaches at MIT. So why shouldn't we put him in charge of figuring out exactly how much of everything should or shouldn't be produced for the American people?

Have you been to socialist Venezuela lately, Bernie? They seem to have solved the problem of too many toilet paper brands. Because right now there is no toilet paper to be had at all in socialist Venezuela."

So tell me Bernie, what exactly will you do to feed starving children by reducing the amount of toilet paper we have in this country? And by the way, when you close all the toilet paper companies, how will the people who used to work at them feed their own starving children?

Bernie? . . . .

Can I live in his house and raid his fridge? That’s my ‘human right’, no?

Idiot has no idea what a “right” is.

Rights that require other humans to labor in order to ensure them because they cannot exist on their own through self-action, is requiring virtual slavery from others!

And if you dont live near a college or a hospital? Are “your” rights not violated?

All that will do is dumb down college to the same level as public high school. Eventually you’ll see job-hunters only hiring people from private colleges.

It isn’t a right if someone else has to pay for it.
Call it what it is.......a bribe for votes.

You cannot have a right to another man’s services, unless you believe in slavery. Sanders might look harmless, but he’d be having people shot within 5 years, if he was given total power.

Rights invented by the left:
Free college
Free healthcare
Free phones
Free food
Free housing
Free of anyone who annoys them
Does that about sum it up?
Moron.

I guess Bernie Sanders doesn’t realize that “sanity” is also a “human right” so, in his case, it’s “Calling Dr. Carson, Calling Dr. Carson - frontal lobotomy needed in Room 666”.

With all due respect to Sen. Sanders, he is is another excellent example why the 17th Amendment should never have been ratified. More on the 17th Amendment shortly.

Note that Sen. Sanders shares Thomas Jefferson’s vision of free education.

“The great mass of the articles on which impost is paid is foreign luxuries, purchased by those only who are rich enough to afford themselves the use of them. Their patriotism would certainly prefer its continuance and application to the great purposes of the public education, roads, rivers, canals, and such other objects of public improvement as it may be thought proper to add to the constitutional enumeration of federal powers [emphases added].” —Thomas Jefferson: 6th Annual Message, 1806.

But unlike Sanders, note that the excerpt above also indicates that Jefferson understood that if the states wanted Congress to tax the rich to pay for everybody’s schooling that the states would first need to amend the Constitution to grant Congress the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for INTRAstate schooling purposes.

Sanders has the same problem with the Constitution regarding his idea for universal healthcare. He doesn’t seem to understand that the states have likewise never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for INTRAstate healthcare purposes. A previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified this as follows.

Sanders has also ignored his golden opportunity as a senator to rally Congress to propose healthcare and education amendments to the Constitution to the states.

The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and low-information senators who make campaign promises based on constitutionally nonexistent federal government powers to regulate, tax and spend for things like intrastate education and intrastate healthcare as well.

The people who support this clown are either incapable of critical thinking or are 60s hippies who never grew up. This guy is the Music Man, the Pied Piper, the Candy Man, promising services and goods one doesn't have to pay for---until the bill comes for someone else. This is not sustainable and certainly does not make for a sound and strong nation. This is the King of the gibsmedats. A nation composed of gibsmedats cannot long endure.

WHO'S GONNA PAY FOR ALL THIS CRAP, YOU COMMIE PIECE OF CRUD?

There is no such thing as a “right” that obligates the time and services of another.

Sanders says countries that abide by the principles of democratic socialism, like Cuba, Bangladesh, Mozambique and Ethopia, often lead the world in healthcare, education, and strength of the middle class.

I was playing golf today by myself when I caught up with another guy playing by himself. We paired up on about the 5th hole and followed a 4some the rest of the way. Each in our own cart. After a couple of holes, politics came up and the guy says he is a Bernnie Sanders voter. Said his daughter works for planned parenthood and the videos are forgeries, didn’t like the Trump tax plan because it let corporations and rich people pay less.... Etc etc. Well, by the 18th hole I had his mind mostly changed. (I can really argue). AND, I shot 2 under for the day, so life doesn’t get much better than that!

Free college is a right? The high schools are already full of people who don’t belong there because it’s ‘free’. So, yeah, lets just repeat that winning process.

He is such a douche.

Sure, you have the “right” to go to college. Who is stopping anyone.

What he means is that it’s an entitlement.

There’s little chance of rights being protected in a nation of people who can’t tell the difference between a right and an entitlement.
