This interview is amazing.
As the Bernie Sanders campaign surges, the socialist senator continues to bring the national conversation back from the right after 30 years of bellicose class war rhetoric.
In the clip below, he shames those (including Jeb Bush) who would cut taxes for the rich while stripping Social Security. Sanders states clearly that every other industrialized country invests in their own citizens and children and its high time that we followed suit.
While Sanders is heavily-criticized for identifying as a democratic socialist, he embraces the label. Sanders says countries that abide by the principles of democratic socialism, like Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, often lead the world in healthcare, education, and strength of the middle class.
Moreover, Sanders is striking a chord with the majority of Americans according to Pew Research, 77 percent of Americans believe too much power is concentrated in the hands of the rich and the wealthiest corporations. 91 percent of Democrats agreed with that statement, along with 80 percent of independents. Even 53 percent of Republicans agreed that the wealthy have too much power in todays America.
Sanders remains unwavering in his commitment to establishing education and health care as a basic human right, not a luxury only available to the privileged. He maintains his plan could be easily funded by requiring the wealthy and the largest corporations to pay much higher taxes. He justifies this by pointing out that the wealthiest 400 Americans control more wealth than the poorest 150 million Americans, combined. And since 2009 the official end of the recession 95 percent of all income gains went to the top 1 percent.
As Bernie Sanders poll numbers continue to increase, and as he gets more opportunities to communicate his message on mainstream networks, sanity may be slowly returning to our media and the ongoing dialogue about class in America. Watch the clip below and tell us if you agree.

The reason that my surgeon makes 10 times the money that I do is that he went to medical school, served an internship, got a medical license, and busted his butt for 10 or 15 years and I didn’t.....I don’t want a surgeon who makes the same amount of money that I do and I don’t begrudge him one penny of what he makes nor does he have to share it with me.
Dear Bernie
human rights also include the right to the proceeds of one’s labor (allowing for reasonable and limited taxation to pay for common necessities like police, fire, roads, etc.)
if you take away peoples’ earnings from work, they will quite naturally (mostly) cease being productive
you get what you pay for, subsidize, reward...
you will get a lot less goods and services available for everyone
and a lot more able-bodied people on the dole, sitting at home watching Oprah reruns or sports games on their Chinese or Korean boob toobs, instead
I couldn't have summarized it any better.
Money? We’ll just print more...
To many bad LSD trips in his hippy days
When the national debt is approaching $19 trillion, it is not a human right to destroy the nation.
Who pays for ‘rights’?
Bernie, you said: You dont necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants or of 18 different pairs of sneakers when children are hungry in this country.
So let me get this straight, Bernie . . . you're going to set up an agency or a czar to determine how many kinds of deodorant, and how much of it, can be permitted by law?
Will you do the same with toilet paper? I mean look how many brands of toilet paper there are. Shall we just set up a monopoly of one company, or better yet, a government monopoly, to produce exactly the right amount of toilet paper, or otherwise limit the amount of toilet paper that gets produced?
Are you going to hire Michael Gruber to be the guy who figures out the correct amount of toilet paper that people should be allowed to use? He's smart. He teaches at MIT. So why shouldn't we put him in charge of figuring out exactly how much of everything should or shouldn't be produced for the American people?
Have you been to socialist Venezuela lately, Bernie? They seem to have solved the problem of too many toilet paper brands. Because right now there is no toilet paper to be had at all in socialist Venezuela."
So tell me Bernie, what exactly will you do to feed starving children by reducing the amount of toilet paper we have in this country? And by the way, when you close all the toilet paper companies, how will the people who used to work at them feed their own starving children?
Bernie? . . . .
Can I live in his house and raid his fridge? That’s my ‘human right’, no?
Idiot has no idea what a “right” is.
Rights that require other humans to labor in order to ensure them because they cannot exist on their own through self-action, is requiring virtual slavery from others!
And if you dont live near a college or a hospital? Are “your” rights not violated?
All that will do is dumb down college to the same level as public high school. Eventually you’ll see job-hunters only hiring people from private colleges.
It isn’t a right if someone else has to pay for it.
Call it what it is.......a bribe for votes.
You cannot have a right to another man’s services, unless you believe in slavery. Sanders might look harmless, but he’d be having people shot within 5 years, if he was given total power.
Rights invented by the left:
Free college
Free healthcare
Free phones
Free food
Free housing
Free of anyone who annoys them
Does that about sum it up?
Moron.
Your thinking small.

Universal Legal Representation.

Socialist BS. They’re not rights. More like privileges that you acan ccess to if you pay for it.
I guess Bernie Sanders doesn’t realize that “sanity” is also a “human right” so, in his case, it’s “Calling Dr. Carson, Calling Dr. Carson - frontal lobotomy needed in Room 666”.
