Donald Trump is not going to be the leader of the free world. That was the reality check delivered to the reality TV star when he was subjected to a pounding in last weeks Republican debate at the Ronald Reagan presidential library.
A summer of bombast from the bumptious billionaire had led to his anti-immigration rhetoric and populist demagoguery lifting him to the top of all the Republican party polls. The debate in Simi Valley, however, brought him crashing back to earth.
By the time the dust had settled, Carly Fiorina, the former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard and the widely proclaimed victor of the debate, was in the lead in a Voter Gravity poll in New Hampshire, edging out Trump by four points.
The property magnate, who had looked deflated and remained uncharacteristically silent for almost 40 minutes at one point during the three-hour CNN debate, then stood accused of racism.
Trump was flummoxed when a questioner at a rally in Rochester, New Hampshire, called President Barack Obama a Muslim and failed to correct or challenge him....

Barbra Streisand. I know many life long democrats who have switched to Trump. But you may be right about Palin & Cruz.

He had the same article in the UK’s Sunday Times....just pushing the same talking points as all the MSM.
It is surreal seeing what they wish for, written as fact.

This guy thinks he is a blithering genius. He’s actually a laughable fool. When I read his work, I can hear the calliope in the background.

Debates are easy WHEN THE NETWORK (CNN) GIVES YOU THE QUESTIONS FOR THE DEBATE, RIGHT CARLY?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
The property magnate, who had looked deflated and remained uncharacteristically silent for almost 40 minutes at one point during the three-hour CNN debate... CNN decided to ignore him because the FOX debate taught them he would make them look foolish if they got frisky with him (not to mention soar in the polls) and that somehow means he was "deflated?" LOL. They are afraid of him and it shows.

After all the surprises so far, it would be folly to predict the precise time and manner of Trumps demise. But there is no doubt America and the world will be spared a Trump-branded White House and The Donald as commander-in-chief.
Then why all the scrambling and panicking? I'm not even a Trump supporter, but I try to maintain my Realville passport. When the author states that there is no realignment because Trump is a celebrity, he's confusing a catalyst with the reality. Trump's candidacy reveals the fissures that are already there. Guys like R. Emmet Tyrell have been writing about it for decades.
I expected better of Real Clear Politics. An article a week after the debate about Trump "crumpling" at this siteis obliged to have some numbers behind it. The last time someone pulls a "let's write a story a week later and try to make history" was when the New York Times decided to create a false narrative about Buchanan's speech at the Republican convention in 1992. It worked because there was no web then, and little alternative media.

It seems odd that today everyone and their dog posted Trump has tanked, and lost stories today. From every political pundit, and beyond, I think they must have decided to blanket the world with this fakery.

apparently there is a whisper out that the GOPE has a “plan” to redo the vote split based on Trump having a ceiling.
Consider every single candidate that has accepted donations from big donors (blood money) can be controlled by the GOPE.

The times wishes it were so, but it doesn’t appear to be so. Doesn’t the staff at the Times spend so much time running around licking up the stuff that dribbles out of 0’s depends that they don’t have time to do anything but write fiction?
