Attending Congressman Jeff Duncan's 5th. annual Faith and Values BBQ/fund raiser this evening.Scheduled speakers include: Dr. Ben Carson,
Scott Walker, and my personal favourite; Sen. Ted Cruz. I more than likely will not receive any one-on-one time with these gentlemen but if given the chance to ask any or all of these a question,
I respectfully ask my much more learned FReeper colleges what best and poignant question(s) to ask?
“When all is said and done, how many licks DOES it take to get to the tootsie-roll center of a Tootsie-Pop?”
I have been to a few of these clam bakes and precise, succinct questions are the only ones that will be replied to.
The question I would like to ask all the candidates.
If you could win knowing that you would gain full dictatorial powers, would you accept the job? Why or why not?
Ask that Carson guy if “Doctor” is really is first name.
“Are you logged in?”
Ask Ben Carson what his position is on gun control. Also immigration with Cruz in regard to H-1B visas.
Iffin’ y’all was a tree...
May I use “WayneS at Freerepublic.com wants me to ask....” when posing that silliness?
To defeat the democRATs, we must first defeat the Republicans.
What did you know, and when did you know it?
boxers or briefs?
Absolutely!

Okay...
I remember reading a couple of OP EDs by Carson a year or two ago that stunk to me like “you gotta vote for the second most evil GOP candidate.” Basically establishment GOPe in my book. DOES HE STILL THINK SO? WOULD HE VOTE FOR BUSH?
For Walker, I’d ask him “When are you going to permanently cement your position on illegals, amnesty/pathway, and birthright? And what makes you think getting elected and then thinking about putting up a fence is acceptable?
For Cruz, “Fully explain your position on increased H1B visas and what concrete steps you would impose to ensure the need has not been fully explored for an American Citizen to fill?”
Ask them, without looking at the Constitutions Section 8 of Article I and the 10th Amendment, why did the Founding States make them? It is ok to report blank stares as a typical response.
Actually, Ted Cruz knows how to answer that question so ask the others first.
Good one. It’s just this kind of thinking that I was hoping to glean. I very rarely post here because you guys are it when it comes to conservative political issues.
How far are you willing to go to (A) end federal deficit spending, (B) restore individual Constitutional rights, and (C) stop the slaughter of the pre-born?
(Correct answer: full federal shut-down.
Elaborated answer: a federal shutdown will (A) identify non-essential and thus eliminatable services, (B) stop all federal infringement on rights, and (C) any government willing to fund widespread infanticide deserves elimination.)
Clarification on #19: it’s understood that “federal shutdown” would allow continuation of essential services.
