Republican voters show no signs they are growing weary of the brash real estate mogul, who has dominated political headlines and the 17-strong Republican presidential field with his tough talk about immigration and insults directed at his political rivals. The candidates are vying to be nominated to represent their party in the November 2016 general election.
Nearly 32 percent of Republicans surveyed online said they backed Trump, up from 24 percent a week earlier, the opinion poll found. Trump had nearly double the support of his closest competitor, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who got 16 percent. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson was third at 8 percent.

They vote 97% democrat why would they be at a Republican rally?
>> Hmmm...Not one person of color in this photo ...
What about that lady wearing the bright yellow ‘n green dress, just to the right of Trump’s head?
That’s a pretty dad-gum bright color...
Actual numbers, 5-day average 8/17-8/21. Trump 31.9, Jebby 16.2, Doc Carson 8.3, Huck 7.2, Walker 5, Rubio 4.6, Cruz 4.6, Fiorina 3.4, Christie 3.2, Paul 2,8, Perry 2.2 Kasich 2.1 Jindal 1.3 Santorum 1.2
That clever GOPe! They knew that would get 'em back.
Wow—here’s another one.
For those of Democrat or independent party affiliation, sure ‘wouldn’t vote at all’ ekes out the lead at 29%, but Trump is at 28%, with the next three of Bush, Paul, and Walker all the way down at 5.6%, 5.1%, and 4.7% respectively.
That is huge—Trump gets more than five times the second-place candidate among independents and Democrats. If it were a GOPe candidate with that advantage, that’s all we’d hear about!
Actually, it’s just exactly five times his second-place competitor.
That's wrong. I know several blacks that are VERY hard workers. Don't generalize. Trump will unify the nation to then turn on the PC crowd and hopefully drive them OUT of the country or put them in prison. Wouldn't bother me one bit.
Who in their right mind would vote for Jeb? Oh yeah the open border traitors....
Hehe...Just saying it doesn’t look like Trump’s message is winning over many blacks .
Blacks should realize the illegals directly affect them more than anyone. They take over their neighborhoods first and take their jobs away from them.
As Trump was leaving last night...there was a young hispanic woman standing in the line...Trump said “I’m going to get the hispanic vote!”, and the woman said, “And, I’m going to help!”
I read somewhere yesterday at NR that “Trump has peaked @25% (or whereabouts)” in which it quoted Bill Kristol (Weekly Standard) weekly prediction of Trump has peaked.
Trump has the populist touch and would be a big draw to like-minded black Americans. Look at the two women who made the pro-Trump videos. Trump has balls, and people of all backgrounds have respect for this.
The media doesn’t know what to do with him because they’re not used to someone who will bloody their noses.
The Man on Horseback appears when a civilization is dissolving. The Man on Horseback is to be feared even as he is the only chance to revive the nation. Historically the Man on Horseback has not been good beyond the short term for the nation in which he rides to the fore. He makes the nation great or regains greatness but often overreaches, rides too far. Napoleon was France’s Man on Horseback. Hitler was Germany’s. Lenin and Octavian played analogous roles but were connivers rather than Heroes. Both took command of rapidly decaying great nations. There have been many others through the millennia.
Perhaps the breakout with meaningless decimals might more likd 31.8% to 16.3%. That would be reported as 32-16 and accurately as “nearly double.” Of course as poll numbers they are not that accurate and error range could make the correct numbers for the particular people polled to be 32.4% to 15.6%. “Nearly” is probably a reading of the decimals which were not then printed and is, itself too fine a description for the nature of the data.

As one reporterette commented last night (paraphrasing): "No, no one of color that I can see, just normal people"
Oopsie...
I thought the same thing last night, so petty, like that’s gonna turn people away from Trump and flock over to Jeb. Just about anything Jeb does drives Trump’s numbers up. And I strongly suspect Jeb’s numbers are artificially inflated.
“Those tickets were available to anyone who called in. It’s not our problem if folks don’t want to hear a message of putting US citizens to work and making the US great again.”
I am not “a person of color”, but I theorize many Black people do not want this illegal invasion like the rest of us. It will harm them just as much.
But the divider-in-chief has the Black population just as divided as the nation. The “Baltimore types” are all over the place. The point I’m trying to make is, many conservatives were afraid to come out until Trump came along to lead, we were afraid of ridicule by the left, our neighbors, being caught by the media or whatever. I suspect Blacks have a similar fear, fearing the media will point them out for the Baltimore types to see. Come voting time we will see just how correct my theory is.
