Do you know of any candidate since 1972, who rocketed to top of EVERY poll within 30 days of declaring and jumping in? I can not remember seeing anything like this since 1972.
The truth of the matter is - there are very few we can trust in today’s political climate. It’s a crap shoot for the most part. They say one thing on the campaign trail, then get elected, and it’s goodbye “we the people.”

If he’s anywhere near as good a businessman as he is said to be, he knows Social Security is an unfixable Ponzi scheme.
So either he’s not actually good at any part of business other than cleverly bribing the right people... or he’s lying to you and he knows it.
Ross Perot was a thousand times more credible as a potential President. The man had detailed arguments and plans, whereas all Trump does is tell people what they want to hear, regardless of whether it makes any sense or not.
Why is it any snarkier than you saying “I don’t trust him at all”? Have you had any personal dealings with Trump? If not, are you just taking a wild guess?
You may want to listen to what people who have actually had dealings with Trump. He has a sterling reputation in the business community for keeping his promises.
Then compare that with the 535 congress critters. I think they have one of lowest trust ratings of any group in the country.

You do not know what Trump’s plan is on how to fix social security. And neither do I. But I am not willing to pre-judge something I do not know anything about.
That strategy is exactly how ISIS ended up with billions in US military equipment in the first place.
Now we’re in a bizarre situation where even though ISIS is said to be a uniquely terrible enemy, we support none of the forces that are actually being effective at fighting them - Assad loyalists, Kurds, and Iranians - while at the same time we support those fighting the ones who are making headway against ISIS.
We have no business getting involved in that mess, but if we must, the only sensible way to go is to arm the Kurds to the teeth and otherwise get the hell out. The Kurds are the only faction in the entire region which isn’t either an open enemy or constantly stabbing us in the back.

Social Security is done for. It cannot be fixed. There is not enough money on the planet to fund the promises that have been made. Anybody telling you it can be fixed is either dangerously delusional or lying to you.

I always go with my gut. I went with it concerning McLaim and was right, went with it when it came to Romney, and again was right. I have that same gut feeling about Trump, and will go with it.

A sobering fact that keeps running through my head is, the only thing conservatives have done successfully in the face of the progressive movement is fail to stop it on a consistent basis.
SS is one of many socialist programs that have become institutionalized in the very marrow of our society. In doing so, the size of government is kept on a steady course bigger because of the increasing number of people “who would get hurt” if these programs went away.
And now you have 2 more nuclear bombs added obamatrade (more immigration) and Iran deal . And all the career politician senators passed bills that will enable the tyrant Obama to pass these 2 horrible things against America
We should have never invaded Iraq and dislodged a dictator who was keeping the radical Islamists under control. Ditto in Libya. Gaddafi was no angel, but he kept the radical Islamists in check. Ditto with Egypt. We abandoned Hosni Mubarak, only to end up with Muslim brotherhood. We are very lucky Egyptian military took control.
Barack Hussein’s foreign policy favors the Islamists. He withdrew all troops too soon, and Iraq is now a disaster. If you think it is OK for letting ISIS grow in strength, then no need to invade Iraq again. Barack has failed in destroying ISIS. It will be up to the next republican president to fix the mess before it lands on our shores in a large scale attack which will make 911 look like a small skirmish.
