Trump says he'd be a smarter president than his competitors
Yahoo News ^ | August 14, 2015 | KATHLEEN RONAYNE

"We will make great trade deals, we will save Social Security without cuts, we will come up with health care plans that will be phenomenal — phenomenal," Trump told a packed high school auditorium.

Trump's trip to the first primary state comes as he continues to hold a commanding lead in the Republican presidential primary, despite a spat with Fox News personality Megyn Kelly, staff shakeups and continued criticism over his comments about Mexican immigrants. Although he speaks without a script, Trump's talking points here echoed those he's made on the campaign trail for months, namely touting his skills as a negotiator.

The crowd ate it up.

I never said you or your opinion were simple minded. I said your opinion was not based in fact because it wasn't.

Everything I sad was true. You can call that an education or whatever pleases you. But it was fact.

“So basically, we need to invade Iraq again.”

Only if we want to defeat ISIS by cutting the head off the snake. If we are ok with them committing atrocities across the world, then no ... we don’t have to invade.

Donald is right. We need to hit them hard, take away their financial resources (oil) and kill the beast.

And his casino in Atlantic City was just a small setback on his bad judgement?

It would be my guess that you've made more wrong financial calls that Trump.

And look at your misspelling rate! You can't even get 15 simple words correct.

That's a far greater failure rate than Trumps financial failure rate.

“Falling in love” with political figures is something the left does. For reference, see the Obamabots of 2008.

Conservatives recognize that such a thing is unwise.

Don’t we...?

"debate Cruz head to head, 1 honest moderator, for 1 hour..

And get back to me on that one."

LOL, I would pay good money to see that one. ;)

“And his casino in Atlantic City was just a small setback on his bad judgement?”

So, what risks have you taken that all worked out perfectly, or have you taken any risks at all and are still a wage slave?

How could he be worse than Kerry and Clinton in negotiations? It could not happen. :-)

In every election, I list my priorities.
Then find the candidate who matches them best.
Then I have to get a sense if he/she can win nomination.
No sense in voting for a person who is not resonating with voters. Wishful thinking will achieve absolutely nothing.

Finally, I try to get a sense if he/she can win in general.

Right now my priorities are jobs, immigration and foreign trade. All 3 are actually inter-twined. Too many immigrants are causing wages go lower for American citizens. Bad foreign trade pacts are causing manufacturing to move abroad, causing loss of middle class jobs. We can’t prosper by importing stuff and creating retail jobs.

Based on all above considerations, currently I favor Trump. However primaries are long ways away. Things can change on a dime. Perry sank with just one flummox during one debate. I reserve the right to change my support without notice.

That is true. But actually it is even worse than that. I have not seen even one example where Barack Hussein has taken an initiative to go against Islamists. In Egypt, Libya, Iran, ISIS, etc. he sided withe Islamists.

It is easy to understand why. His formative years were spent in a Muslim household with a devout Muslim step father, in Indonesia. He has heard the beautiful sound of Muslims prayers from Mosques. Barack Hussein will side with the Mullah’s of Iran over Christian America every time.

Any guy that wears a wedding ring (or ring on wedding finger) with the Inshallah engraved on it is a devout Muslim.

Why does anybody wonder at Obama’s unwillingness to wage war on Muslims?

Are you under the delusion, that by spamming a Trump thread, you will convert Trump supporters to switch to some one else? If you really think that, I am afraid it is time to visit a doc.

Like I said before, if you really want to succeed in defeating Trump, start a thread for your candidate and sing all his/her good characteristics. Simply throwing out terms like “he is not conservative”, “he is a RINO” etc is too shallow an argument for anyone to change their minds.

Because Obama said he is a Christian and attended Reverend Wright’s church for many years. Also, most Americans do not really understand Islam.

No one was listening to Cruz. Everyone hears Trump.

Cruz is my absolute first choice. Trump is far down the list, but I appreciate his ability to drive the message. He has made the amnesty bunch unelectable as nominees.

out of 10 pings about my comments about trump yours is the only one that thinks I am wrong.

So eh, what ever dude ;)

Would I complain if trump won and did what he has said so far? No. I would not.

I simply fear he’s all hat and no cattle.

Do you know that there's over a hundred trillion in American real estate that's being used to back our foreign debt?

Are you suggesting that we welch on our national debt?? Interesting idea, but I doubt its soundness. It does sound like the kind of thing a Trump would do, based on his history.
