The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Sunday condemned Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump’s recent remarks about immigrants as “hate speech” and stereotyping, and called on him to stop spreading misinformation and fomenting hatred against immigrants.
“Donald Trump’s hate speech against immigrants is highly inappropriate and we join with the voices of many others around the country who have condemned his offensive remarks,” retiring ADl national director Abe Foxman said in a statement. “It is time for Trump to stop spreading misinformation and hatred against immigrants, legal and illegal.”
Trump’s use of inflammatory language when talking about immigrants has drawn condemnation from across the aisle.
All major Republican presidential candidates have called Trump out from his decisive and offensive comments.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush offered his most aggressive comments so far on the real estate mogul on Saturday. “This is a guy who was a Democrat for most of the last decade. I don’t think he represents the Republican Party, and his views are way out of the mainstream of what most Republicans think,” Bush told reporters after an Independence Day parade in Merrimack, New Hampshire, according to The New York Times.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz was the only presidential hopeful to ‘salute’ Trump for his comments. “I salute Donald Trump for focusing on the need to address illegal immigration,” Cruz said on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday morning. “The Washington cartel doesn’t want to address that. The Washington cartel doesn’t believe we need to secure the borders. The Washington cartel supports amnesty and I think amnesty’s wrong, and I salute Donald Trump for focusing on it. He has a colorful way of speaking. It’s not the way I speak, but I’m not going to engage in the media’s game of throwing rocks and attacking other Republicans. I’m just not going to do it.”

LULAC Urges More Companies to End Business Associations with Donald Trump

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) press conference held today regarding the remarks made by Donald Trump of Latinos and immigrants in general, LULAC National President and Immediate Past Chair of the HACR Board, Margaret Moran, issued the following statement -
“Donald Trump’s reference to Latino immigrants as drug dealers, rapists, and murderers was hateful and racist rhetoric meant to pander to a disconnected political base. Politicians who engage in such hate mongering and political pandering must know that there is a price to pay for such conduct. LULAC is gratified that the business community serving Latinos has responded with swift action and in doing so, has stood up for the Latino community.
Specifically, LULAC praises the leadership of Univision Communications Inc. for taking immediate action to terminate their business ties with Donald Trump, including refusing to air the Miss USA pageant, produced by the Trump-owned Miss Universe Organization. We also congratulate Comcast-NBCUniversal, for severing their business relationships with Donald Trump noting that it was standing by its core values. Finally, we applaud this morning’s decision by Macy’s Inc. to halt the sale of Trump merchandise, stating it will not tolerate remarks that threaten its values of diversity and inclusion. By severing their business association with Donald Trump, these companies have sent a clear message - hateful and disparaging remarks made of immigrants will not be tolerated.
LULAC calls upon other corporations with business ties to Donald Trump to follow suit. There is no room in our society for politicians to make ignorant remarks of any minority community. Our society has benefited from the unique contributions made by immigrants and we should celebrate not denigrate such contributions.”

I find it completely hilarious that Donald Trump is getting the media, the Demonrats, and the RINOs this wound up over something that 90% of the population agrees with.
Ann Coulter made a great point in her book "Adios America" when she said the government and media are covering up and preventing debate on immigration. Add to that big business, such as we just saw from NASCAR reaction to Trump. Businesses fire you if you take a position disapproved by the left.
So saying something that is objectively and verafiably true is hate speech.

I can’t believe so many saw the interview yet came away with the belief that all of Trumps comments were directed at Mexicans.
Are they deaf and blind? How could anyone who saw the interview hear Donald Trump’s comments and come away with the belief that he hates Mexicans? Geez!!! And to those who are running and bashing Trump, your faked outrage just lost you my support. GOP should be challenging the bashers, not shying away from them.
