Hispanic leaders are warning of harm to Republican White House hopes unless the party's presidential contenders do more to condemn Donald Trump, a businessman turned presidential candidate who's refusing to apologize for calling Mexican immigrants rapists and drug dealers.
Trump's comments, delivered in his announcement speech last month, have haunted the GOP for much of the last two weeks and dominated Spanish-language media....

Given that I’ve never studied journalism I was answering the question as it was asked.
I’m a Walker supporter and yes he does need to come forward to clarify exactly what his policy is going to be reguarding illegals, though he should be able to do so without having to directly engage buffoonish Trump.
I am so sick and tired of “Hispanics” and “undocumented aliens” and all the BS that accompanies them...
Get rid of this bunch of A-holes in DC and then send these illegals BACK to wherever they came from...
We really, really NEED an Independence DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fraudulently Documented Foreigners ARE NOT immigrants.
We will either stand up for the rule of law or we will lose it and our country.
Amazing that the AP would find all of these Hispanic Leaders who believe exactly the same way the writer thinks? Must be related to unnamed sources.
Pray America is waking
After coming out against the Rebel Flag Walker is dead to me!
We have to start cornering them when they bring this idiocy up and ask “Why do you hate America? Why are you a hater? They of course will deny it but you are either loyal to the United States first and your ethnicity and race a distant second or you should go back to your country of origin.
One of the most comical lines ever written
Straw hombres....
Gov. Scott Walker is making it official that he is running for president sort of.
Walker avoids the issue of immigration. He still isn’t sure which side to take and will wait until he sees what response Trump and Cruz get.
Trump’s comments...for much of the last two weeks dominated Spanish-language media....

It’s amazing how this is a bigger issue than the crimes and corruption of Hillary, Bill and their daughter.
Let me get your take on this please, MMTU. Do you think this will be damaging to the eventual GOP nominee via using it as a tool to incite Mexicans and register them to vote against the evil Republican? Or, since Election Day in November 2016 is still a long way off, will this eventually be lost in the shuffle, so to speak, and be forgotten by most people?

Aw...... Come on ohioman. Chill out. You know Scottie Walker well enough to know that he’ll change his position on that in a couple of weeks like he has everything else. Walker dude has not convictions. If he does, he doesn’t have the balls to take a stand for them. I appreciate what he did re: the Unions in WI and how he bitch-slapped the Teachers Unions, but, if he thinks he’s going to ride that to the White House, he is terribly mistaken.
First, it is a known fact that Mexican Hispanics predominantly vote 98% Democrat (those that vote). They are Socialists and are not going to change the way they have historically voted no matter what. A lot of the media "outrage" against Trump is convince the fringe element voters to swing one way or another. The Republicans are NOT going to get much of the Mexican vote, period. Mexican politics there and here are profoundly corrupt. Cubans are entrepreneurs and tend to be much more capitalistic and vote Republican or conservative.
The failure on the part of the American people to decisively act on illegal immigration and DEMAND that politicians do something about it happened years ago and has caused ALL of this problem. All of the children born to illegal immigrants who were granted citizenship by a law that should have been changed are going to vote for the party they perceive to have given them entrance (Democrat). I tried to tell politicians YEARS ago that something should be done, but they were already making money in some form or fashion off of illegal immigration and were disinterested(one Republican Representative I talked to face-to-face had a mom who was a slum-lord renting to them). He said he would look into it and did nothing.
They key is to convince all of the rest of America they had better vote for someone who is going to crack down on and remove illegal immigrants no matter what or we are going to lose the country. Once they are on top, they WILL take punitive action against those they have perceived to be in opposition to them as do the homosexuals. Same attitude.
To answer your question, NO. It seems that most of the young people of ALL cultural backgrounds are more focused on entertainment and having fun and nothing else matters. It is kind of like partying on the Titanic while it sinks and believing it is unsinkable. The older folks vote. Even then, Obama did not win the last election. I can not be convinced he won that election. The Democrat Party cheated in enough enclaves where they have influence and pull and stole the election. They are going to do it again with Hillary. She will probably win even if the Apostle Peter ran against her and not because anyone voted for her. It will be because somehow, through deceit, she will be able to walk on water and Peter failed when he tried.
You asked...
They call up to businesses now and instead of politely asking if someone speaks Spanish, they DEMAND it. If their behavior were imitated in the countries from which they come, one would be severely beaten for doing so. Literally.
I have been trying for YEARS on this forum to get that across.
