A Texas-based conservative activist has a prediction for who will be left standing among the crowded field of Republicans seeking the White House.
"Everything I'm seeing is a Cruz-Walker race at this point," observes Cathie Adams, a longtime Republican activist and currently the president of Texas Eagle Forum.
It's still early in the presidential election and the crowd of declared GOP candidates is already lengthy.
There are also the undeclared, including Gov. Scott Walker and Jeb Bush.
Adams says Republican Party "kingmakers" are behind Bush, and Cruz and Walker are the conservatives most likely to defeat him in the primary....

Walker has been great for WI and would be a good VP choice, but I don’t think he’s ready to be the “top dog” on the national stage; but, I could be wrong. I’m not so sure that I agree with the prediction that it will come down to a Cruz vs. Walker GOP Primary. Don’t discount Marco Rubio. The guy is doing everything right so far. The one that scares the heck out of me is the Huckster. I hope to goodness he loses in IA and NH and goes on back to Arkansas.

Walker is too much an amnesty guy IMO
Well I said this once before and I'll say it again. Wishy-Washy-Walker has "RINO Leaning" written all over him. That was confirmed this week when he hired Mitch McConnell's chief adviser to a high position on his staff. If he's already getting in bed with RINO scum like Mitch McConnell, he will be McConnell's and Boehner's "boy" in the White House. The only way Scott Walker will ever get my vote would be if he is the one facing Hillary Clinton in November 2016.

I am pretty sure Walker takes Iowa.

I’m not so sure of that. It changes things in Iowa now that the Huckster is getting in the race as well as Rick Insanatorum. Huck won IA in ‘08 and Rick won IA in ‘12. They both still have large followings in that State. And as far as Social Issues, Ted Cruz is equal to Walker or moreso. Tony Perkins and other Christian activists are fleeing Walker. I look for more to do so now that he has hired Mitch McConnell’s chief adviser for a high-level position in his campaign. Iowans do NOT like RINOs or RINO lovers. My Prediction: Walker comes in Third in IA.

I believe in this poll more than anything from PPP, NBC, ABC, CNN etc. Carson is at 13%. Why is that hard to believe? You do not believe 13% of people polled like Carson? Anyways, he cant win nomination with 13%. We have a long way to go before determining who will win nomination. I don't think 13% of likely voters even know who Ben Carson is. This poll looks as skewed as others from the media.

linda, if she runs, will be nothing more than a stalking horse for Jebbie. In conversations here in SC I find virtually no support for linda as POTUS. Even among folks who voted for her for senator.
