A Texas-based conservative activist has a prediction for who will be left standing among the crowded field of Republicans seeking the White House.

"Everything I'm seeing is a Cruz-Walker race at this point," observes Cathie Adams, a longtime Republican activist and currently the president of Texas Eagle Forum.

It's still early in the presidential election and the crowd of declared GOP candidates is already lengthy.

There are also the undeclared, including Gov. Scott Walker and Jeb Bush.

Adams says Republican Party "kingmakers" are behind Bush, and Cruz and Walker are the conservatives most likely to defeat him in the primary....

So you’re one of those people who think that Fox News is conservative? Hahahahaha!

I looked into this poll and found that only Jeb Bush can beat Hillary, but barely.

Do you think we can trust this poll? After all Fox is for the establishment.

Seriously????

Please note that polls are only a snap shot of current situation. At this stage, name recognition carries more weight because debates have not taken place, and campaigns have barely started. So, yes I do believe Bush is the only one beating Hillary ON THE DAY POLL WAS TAKEN. That could change as the campaign unfolds.

I believe in this poll more than anything from PPP, NBC, ABC, CNN etc. Carson is at 13%. Why is that hard to believe? You do not believe 13% of people polled like Carson? Anyways, he can’t win nomination with 13%. We have a long way to go before determining who will win nomination.

It ain’t bragging if it’s true. I could join MENSA tomorrow, I was in military intelligence and tested out for my degrees, among other things. The chance of your IQ being higher than mine is pretty low.

You are most likely much smarter than me because I am dumber than a door knob...at least that is what my wife has told me.

Who do you think will take NH? I am pretty sure Walker takes Iowa. The 6th primary is SC. By that time, the real front runners should become obvious.

I support Cruz. However, national polling is irrelevant. How the candidates poll in the early primary states is a better indicator of their chances. By that measure the averages at RCP show:

Iowa: Walker has a firm lead.
New Hampshire: Walker leading.
South Carolina: Bush and Walker essentially tied.
Florida, no averages at RCP yet: My guess is that either Rubio or Bush would be leading there.

Few considerations:

1. Both Bush and Walker haven’t formally announced so their true support hasn’t been fully revealed.
2. Walker might have more fragile support given he still is a relative unknown to most Americans.

Another supposition: Walker or Cruz, but not Bush, might feel inclined to fit Rubio into the VP slot in order to better their odds in Florida and with the Spanish speakers.

Walker or Cruz would diminish their chances in the general by adding the cheap labor importer Rubio to the ticket.

English is still a requirement for citizenship.
Citizenship is still a requirement for voting. (legally)
Shouldn’t be too many Spanish speakers voting. (legally)
