There is no middle ground. You are either for it or for homosexual and anything goes marriage.

Good luck Marko...but looking for it, when it does not exist, disqualifies you as a viable candidate for me.
Marco Rubio tries to find middle ground on just about everything.
I think he’s wrong on this. If they were just having a kind of party where they announced they were a “couple,” that might be okay, depending on how well you knew them and liked them...if they were family members to whom you felt you had to be kind, for example. But calling it a “wedding” makes it something else.
I would just send a present and my best wishes for their future (but not on their sham “marriage”) and not attend.
They know perfectly well when they invite you that you probably won’t want to go, and this is an aggressive act by the political gays to try to force everybody, based on friendship and guilt, to approve their agenda.
Keep the friendship (if they are willing to do so if you don’t attend their sham “wedding”) but don’t let them make it look as if you approve of their agenda.

Funny enough Bill Clinton circa 1990s is better than most of the Republicans on this issue. They are not leaders, they just follow the pack and for those I have no patience or loyalty
When it comes to MANY issues, Marco Rubio will probably be trying to stake out positions between Cruz and Clinton.
He has already revised his amnesty/illegal immigration position several times.

If I had a friend who has celebrating and making public his adulterous affair with a woman, I would shun him. We all sin. The objective is to recognize the sin and then go and sin no more. Flaunting your sin and making it public that you do not repent is a serious problem to me.
Same if the person was a thief, an embezzler, etc.
So homo pervert activities are no different. They flaunt their sin and proclaim that they are not repentant. I do not spent time with such people and I certainly do not participate in the celebration of their unrepentant sinning.
