Assuming Cruz takes the nomination, will it be an agonizing choice for VP? We just have to wait and see what States Cruz will need to win. But what if he chooses Rubio? How will the far left media react and later pounce on "The First Latino Ticket"? So Conservatives and Republicans hate Blacks and Latinos? What will they do? try to convince America that both are illegal aliens? Will that be all they got?
Identity politics are for the already defeated
I like Cruz a lot. I pray Rubio isn’t on the ticket.
Rubio’s support is around 6%. A Cruz/Walker or Walker/Cruz ticket makes more sense.
Cruz/Rubio would be of 2 Cuban Hispanic heritage.
That is not a good ‘representative’ ticket.
Both are senators. That is also not a good ‘representative’ ticket. Both are first-term senators.
Rubio still has the Gang of 8 stench on his shoes. Amnesty Rubio? No way, Jose.
Cruz will have enough problems being a first senator of barely 2 years. If he does get the nomination, he will need to select a VP from north or west. Of course, GOPelites would push a nominee-Cruz to select a GOP liberal, like Reagan had to do. That could put JBush on the ticket or Christie, perhaps.
The primary season runs amuck with threads on FR that prove time and again how much we are behind in the war
Truly pathetic
Never happen. Two first term Senators. Besides, you choose your running mate to balance the ticket.
If Sen Cruz wins the nomination and I had to guess, I would think he’ll choose a party heavyweight from a swing state: Gov. Kasich would be my guess.
Forget Rubio!
Cruz/Bush
To placate the establishment
ROFL “BABALUUUU”
The Dems don’t think Cubans are ‘real’ latinos since many, if not most, of them are conservatives.
Seriously you want to make that kind of crack about this devout Christian, married, conservative leader?
No wonder you are a Paul guy.
I wouldn’t vote for Rubio to be dog catcher.
He lied to me for my vote once, he will not get a second opportunity.
He has further been a complete non-factor in the senate. He has accomplished nothing other than joining two RINO gangs.
Just what we need...2 inexperienced senators neither of which has any executive experience at all.....We need Walker and either one of these senators!!
It amazes me. And the folks who want a female/Hispanic/black/whatever ticket, certain that this time we’ll get the corresponding voters, will be sitting around with shocked expressions after Election Day, wondering what went wrong.
No to Rubio.
I do not want Rubio being our next-in-line candidate in 2024.
Cruz/West, Cruz/Palin or Cruz/Walker. Any other combo won’t cut it. No more Rinos, even in the VP slot!
Why?
Paul guys must also have a compulsion to make vanity posts every time a thought occurs to them.
It’s a characteristic of this one, at least...
We need a Constitutional leadership not some namby-pamby go-along-to-get-along
rickety political party who caves to every damn issue. Screw that, and
screw Rubio along with the rest of the losers!
Take the GOP back by force and make them fall into our line, the Conservative fight.
