I’m not picky. I just want a good conservative. My top tier (in no particular order): Cruz, Palin, Jindal, Santorum, and Pence. One of them as President and the other four on the Supreme Court would also be nice. :-)
I think that Carson has reached his high point in popularity and will decline before long. I think that he is more the flavor of the day rather than a realistic possibility.
I think that Mike Pence might be a very electable conservative.
"...the stock lost half of its value throughout her tenure.
Fiorina was forced to resign as chief executive officer and chairman of HP following differences [with the board of directors] about how to execute HPs strategy."
Those are the same deal breakers that killed her last election bid. They're going to prove to be insurmountable for any future run she's contemplating, unless she can somehow find a way to prove through personal performance that she really does have the right stuff.
I want Cruz for president; and I greatly admire Dr. Carson. I’m just not sure that Dr. Carson’s talents would be best utilized in the VP position.
I really think that he should stay out of politics, and position himself in some other politically influential venue. Politics is a very mean game, and the good Doctor doesn’t have any real experience with it.
But he is so brilliant and principled that he could do much good in a more ‘communicator’ or ‘activist’ area.

Scott Walker. Survived a bunch of attacks by rabid pitbulls, and came out smiling. Strong leader, economic common sense.
Well, it's a matter of public record. The exact quote with citation and link have been posted here too many times to count. I believe there's even an audio clip of that statement on the net.
Put "Ben Carson' into FR's search bar and see what you get. I'll bet you'll run right into it. Google might be even faster.
Rick Perry.
Jeff Sessions
Normally I'd agree with you, but Ted Cruz is an exception to that rule. We've hardly seen the like of such a man in our lifetimes.
I choose Cruz above every other 2016 hopeful at present, with Gov. Walker as my second choice. If I had to make a third choice, I'd look among the Governor ranks to pick one.
Make mine Cruz
I hear ya, Dale. She's the first choice of my heart, but she hasn't given me a sign yet that she's interested in running. Unless she does something soon, I'll regretfully have to take my attention off of her.
Scott Walker has PROVEN that he can take the heat and stay in the kitchen!
He has my vote!
Cruz!!!!!!!!!
What I want vs who can win are two different.
My personal choice - Ted Cruz
My choice to win election - Mike Pence
I think that we are supposed to make suggestions while we are awake. But, if we can make suggestions while we are dreaming, I’ll go with Antonin Scalia/Tony Perkins.
Cool! Thanks! I really think he will be incredible.
Leaving her out ... STINKS!

I agree. We haven’t seen the “statesman-like” presence that Cruz exhibits in a very long time.
(I’ve been fooled before, I may be again; but I don’t think I’m ‘fooled’ in my support of Cruz.)

Well Carly is running, and running hard.

Palin hasn’t talked about running that I know of.
I am cool with Cruz too, but we are so lucky to have such a huge amount of Generation X candidates that we could have the Presidency for decades. We could do Walker from 2016-2028 and Cruz from 2028 to 2036 Sean Duffy from 2036-2044. We are just rich in our Conservative Republicans if we play our cards right.
Cruz!!!!!!!!!
