Jason Chaffetz: Mitt Romney will run —and win

At least one House Republican thinks Mitt Romney will make another run for the White House in 2016 and this time, he says the 2012 runner-up will emerge victorious.
I think he actually is gonna run for president. He probably doesnt want me to say that, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) told host Chris Matthews on MSNBCs Hardball on Monday. Chaffetz also backed the former Massachusetts governor early in the GOP nomination process for 2012.
A hundred times he says hes not, but Mitt Romney has always accomplished what hes set out to do. I think hes proven right on a lot of stuff. I happen to be in the camp that thinks hes actually going to run and I think he will be the next president of the United States, he said.
Romney has been the focus of much recent speculation regarding a possible run, but he has repeatedly brushed it aside. Yet, the former governor has weighed in on the political world this year, from endorsing Senate candidate Scott Brown to admonishing the White House for its handling of the rapidly deteriorating situation in Iraq and the surrounding region.

Your heads can all explode. After Obama, I would pray to God it happens. Doubt that it will. Certainly better than Rand P at this point. Cruz, Jindal, Palin, all fine with me. Rubio probably too liberal but I’d vote for him. Perry too. We need salvation from the leftist revolution that is underway.
Romney was for self deportation.

Romney was not close to an electoral victory. He lost. He did not “give up too easily”. He lost because of voters just like most of those here, and America is being destroyed by Obama. America is imploding in ways never before experienced in my lifetime.
And btw the real stinker on the Romney ticket was his worthless VP, Paul Ryan, who was not ready for prime time and who most conservatives thought was great.

Yeah?
Burn in hell Jason and take that fatuous, self serving, saviour of yours, who you desperately need to validate your existence.
I will actively work against that chump.

If Romney could have some kind of miracle "snap election" today, yes he would be elected President.
But that's not how it works in the USA. There's a long primary season where the Media paint the Republicans as squabbling extremists, and the democrats as centrists discussing common sense solutions. Then there's a general election where the Media goes full bore against the GOP nominee while ignoring every fault of the Dem nominee.
Both media seasons will kill off the thin layer of goodwill Romney now enjoys solely because of Obama fatigue.
A GOP candidate who stands for something and can turn out the base in November might have a chance in this hostile media environment (and hostile demographic reality).
Romney's not that guy.

Romney was for self deportation.
And Romney has always been a liar.
He also said he had always been Pro-life at CPAC in January 2012, and then, AFTER he had secured the nomination in August 2012, he stated he had always supported Abortion in the cases of Rape, Incest, Life AND HEALTH of the mother.
Now back to that self-deportation lie of Romney's, After losing the election to Obama, Romney came back in June of 2012 and stated he was in favor of Comprehensive Immigration Reform, and really changed directions this year and fully cemented that support.
The thing is, you can never trust that Romney is telling you the truth.
There is not a moral bone in that lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal's body.

He’ll have to do it without my vote...which he didn’t get in 2012 either.

Romney is cut from the same cloth as the Bush family, for the most part (except for the Mormon thing). I voted for Romney last time, won't do it again, just as I won't vote for a Bush again. The GOP seems to believe that the country wants to elect an out-of-touch, milquetoast elitist to the White House, but they instead need to move on from the Bush and Bush lite types. This country wants nothing to do with those folks at this point.
