An overwhelming 85% of Indian Americans support Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election, according to a poll conducted earlier this year. The results of the study, which were published in early May, also revealed that only 67% of Indian Americans polled voted for Obama in 2008.
Mr. Obamas life story seems to resonate better than Mitt Romneys with many Indian Americans. In the study, which was conducted by Lake Research Partners, on the question of Obama vs. Romney, the ratio was a staggering 76 to 8 in favor of Mr. Obama.
Mr. Obama has shown strong support for Indian Americans, appointing them to some of the highest offices and continuing to laud the contribution of Asian Americans, even though his outsourcing policies have raised eyebrows...

Casino Indians or computer Indians?
Be that as it may, let's remember that two state governors are Indian American--and they are both Republicans.
What would that story be ? Nobody knows who he is.
Very fishy story——all the (Asian) Indians I’ve ever encountered are business-minded and very Conservative, both culturally and economically.
I am acquainted with Southern Ute and Navajo. I’d say it’s no more than 50% who like 0bama. The ones who dislike him know what evil socialism has brought upon their people.
Didn’t they give Obama an Indian name?
Big Teleprompter Turd, or something.
That makes him family.
feather or dot....
Ever been to a REAL REZ?
It’s a Welfare paradise. And a picture-perfect example of the human destruction and corruption wrought by a lifetime of gub’ment welfare.
Most will vote however the Tribe Leaders tell them to.
American Reservation Indians have the highest rates of poverty, unemployment and disease of any ethnic group in America.
In the early 1980s, then-US Secretary of the Interior James Watt commented that one did not have to go to the USSR or Eastern Europe to discover the failures of socialism. Those failures, he said, were evident on the reservations, which his department oversaw. Not surprisingly, the comments drew partisan attacks, and the press dismissed Watt as making “bigoted” comments.
For uttering this inconvenient truth, he was almost fired.
Wrong Indians.
LOL Woops, I sure goofed on that one. Thanks, 2ndDivVet
My co-worker is an Indian naturalized citizen. He states he’s an ‘Independent’. The thing I see is that he thinks he’s smarter than the average voter. He is also basically clueless on American values and history.
These immigrants bring their cultures’ values with them with no regard for our own culture. They know nothing about America outside of the big cities to which they immigrate.
Immigrants are coming here for money, not to be Americans.
(sorry I couldn't pass it up I knew two Indian women one of each that were friends...it was their line)
7-11 Indians, or Tee Pee Indians?
They are here for the free stuff.
You’re referring to American Indians, not Indian Americans.
Obama gave away 1 million American technology jobs to India. He brought them here and sent our job there. They laugh at us. The tax treaty involves a tax relief for companies that hire Indian techs, Americans need not apply.
The Democrats, every election year, love the Indians and promise them the moon but after the election, they get nothing until the next election and then they get a new promise. This has been going on for a couple hundred years and the Tribes never catch on. Of course you know that the White People put them in this situation and keep them there. There is plenty of fault to go around. Socialism works on the Reservations because they have a never ending supply of tax payers money to keep the system going.
