JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) -- Sarah Palin says it's not too late for someone to jump into the Republican presidential race.
Asked by Fox Business Network about the likelihood that she'd become a candidate, the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee said it's not too late for "folks" to jump in. Said Palin: "Who knows what will happen in the future."(continued)

I’ll tell you what I find interesting....
This entire story is predicated on Eric Bolling issuing a Tweet on what Palin said in an interview he taped with her earlier today. Not much substance to go on, yet in our world here on FR, the replies are plentiful.
Kind of makes me think the support for the declared candidates is extremely shallow and many are extremely disappointed with the current group.
Maybe a late entrant (even other than Palin) could actually succeed this election season.
get serious
There are deadlines for getting your name on ballots. THere are deadlines for getting your ads on the air and to the printing presses. It takes time to build an organization. It takes time to raise money.
At this point, not only would it be impossible for an unknown person to jump in, it would be impossible for someone as well known as sarah palin to jump in.
The alaska broad has jumped the shark multiple times already, and now she just did it again. I’d say she’s about to kick off another reality show or something...and you are dumb enough to fall for it.
Not till the girls grow up..
Yeah, it is what he’s saying.
let’s put it this way.. if they all dropped out but Ron Paul and Palin decided to jump in against him yes I’d vote Palin because he’s a wackjob... but they aren’t and she doesn’t deserve to be considered since there are plenty of decent Conservative candidates who have worked their butts off still in the race.. she’s not entitled to anything at this point
What does that mean “exactly”? I think it means to be ON the ballot. Doesn't mean you can't run as a write in. And like Rush said, Palin is only 5 letters. (Palin is easier to spell than Murkowsky)
Sarah waits until the last minute, runs a write in campaign in the states she's missed the deadline and sign up for the rest. She said she would run an unconventional campaign didn't she? Do I think this is the strategy? Who knows, anything is possible. Unlikely, yes. We can dream.
Yes, you’re very CONCERNED about her family. Uh huh.
They’re taking hits because they’re running for President. Sarah’s been taking hits since before 2008. She’s more than earned it. And who says ‘a lot of work’ automatically justifies a person to run or to win? That’s your premise.
“Alaska broad”? Really?
So you would fault her for finding a way to the top without all of the mudslinging and mischief that the last few monthes have provided? I see it as more confirmation that she is much smarter than the rest of the field by far.
Plus, if you read her apparent “words,” she’s not necessarily referring to herself. She could have in mind someone (say, Paul Ryan, for the heck of it), whom could jump in at the last minute, and she’d immediately back and go all-out campaigning for. It could turn the whole primary on its head.
Sarah’s troops would hit the ground running. Are you kidding me? Or is your PDS just showing?
Contribute now....Sarah’s just $10 away from getting back in the race!!
She said she could be more effective helping others get elected.
She also said she would get in if she didn't think she could support any of the other candidates.(or something to that effect.)
Well, at least one of the declared candidates is having these problems.....

She’s not going to run this year. Sheeeesh.
yes really. I don’t like being used. she used all of us. Go ahead and buy her books and watch her silly tv shows. I want none of it...and you can run and tattle to jim rob all you want.
Have you forgotten that Palin has been the most outspoken figure on the political right since Zero's election? Have you forgotten how hard she worked to get Tea-publicans elected during the 2010 midterms? And have you forgotten the price she and her family have paid for her willingness to stand up for conservatism and American First Principles?
Don't tell me that she "hasn't worked for it". If she decides to step into this race, I will gladly give her my support.
Maybe I just get tired of all talk and no walk.
