CITY COUNCIL HEARING DATE IS SET - (CONFIRMED)

IF EVER YOU WANTED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND LET OUR LEADERS KNOW YOU FIND THEIR BEHAVIOR UNACCEPTABLE, NOW IS THE TIME TO DO SO!

YOU MUST ATTEND THE CITY COUNCIL HEARING

PLACE:  CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBERS

 Please call the Speaker's Office at 212-788-7210 a few days before to confirm.

LET'S FILL THE CHAMBERS WITH ALL THOSE OPPOSED.  LET US SPILL OUT INTO THE HALLWAY AND ONTO THE FRONT STEPS OF CITY HALL.  LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE!

NO ONE HAS TO BUT ANYONE WISHING TO SPEAK TO THE COUNCIL TO TELL THEM EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS SMOKING BAN CAN SIGN UP TO DO SO WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

ONLY A LARGE SHOW OF OPPOSITION WILL HAVE ANY IMPACT. 

TIME TO OUTNUMBER THE ANTI-SMOKER CRUSADERS

AND RUN THEM OUT OF OUR TOWN!

Smokers bars and restaurants would be the way to do this.

You're missing the point. Mayor Bloomberg wants city bars and restaurants to have no choice on whether to allow smoking. This new law will ban smoking everywhere, even in private clubs like the American Legion. Do you think that's okay?
