Seems to me we shouldn't allow Dickey and the others to get away with their nasty little plan, but true to FReeper form, shout it from the rooftops.

Heh. Hehehehe. Bwahahahahah!!!! Let's see which freepers can resist the siren call of RINOdom. They gave up being conservatives long ago. Now, they are expected to be soft on immigration. Pass the popcorn, ma, it's The Music Man starring Georgie Bush!

I would willingly trade some of our lazy citizens for some hard working immigrants.

Finally a slogan globalist Republicracts can agree on, unfortunately a bit too long for a bumper sticker.

Yup... if the GOP wants to lose control of Congress this fall and get beaten soundly across the board in November, it couldn't find a better way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory than by being "soft" on illegal immigration. Gotta hand to Karl Rove: the man's a born genius!!! ;-)

Even when they aren't willing to put in the hard work necessary to enter and stay in the country legally?

I would gladly give you five inner city denizens Monday for one immigrant today. Or something like that.

If you think all immigrants are hard working you must live on the moon. Visit So.Cal. and see what unlimited immigration both legal and illegal have done. And why do you have such a low opinion of your fellow Americans. Looking in the mirror and projecting?

I need more info on Title III. How does this prevent overstaying a visa?

And I'd like to add:
Title IX, called Stoping It Before It Starts, sets the penalty for hiring an illegal alien to a fine of at least $10,000 and at least 5 years in a federal prision.

Title X, called Let's Be Sensible About This, would stop children born to illegal aliens in this country from becoming automatic American citizens.

Title XI, called Stop The Coddling, would prevent illegal aliens from partaking of ANY public welfare perks including, but not limited to, Medicaid and Food Stamps.

Ya see, I think we almost beg these folks to become illegals. We've got a whole system set up to treat them extraordinarily well. If we stop doing this, part of the allure will be taken away.

What we ought to do is simple: refuse to vote for anyone for federal office who refuses to halt illegal immigration and deport those already here. If that means not voting, so be it. Even the lesser of two evils is still the lesser of two evils.

Conservatives didn't do that. Republicans did. Big difference.

Unfortunately.

Troller

Troller is looking for a response...ANY response, and he will chum the waters with complaints, insults, compliments, and inflammatory tidbits hoping that someone...ANYONE, will take the bait. Generally quite harmless - practices a form of catch and release. Nonetheless, he can upset the delicate ecology of a discussion forum. Once a forum becomes aware of his presence, however, all feeding activity ceases and Troller must move on to more promising waters.

That is absolutely right, love.  And
the Repubs who call others RINO for
deviating from  the party line have to
swallow this to keep from doing the
same.  Hence my chortle.

How about, the lesser of two evils is still evil...I won't stay home when it comes time to vote...But I will vote for "any" candidate that at least claims to believe what I do...Regardless of party...

I am now convinced they all lie...I'll vote for the one that lies the best...

"The National Republican Congressional Committee has been advising its candidates NOT to mention border security and immigration issues in their speeches or campaign literature," stated Janine Hansen Independent American candidate for Congress Dist. 2 in Nevada.

--------------------

If I were a Republican I'd be frightened to mention the issue too.
