So honest beliefs and principles are meaningless? The whole game is to get elected....
No party can bring honesty and principles or anything else to government unless they get elected and have the power to effect changes.
...even if you have no integrity?
Integrity is for living our lives day in and day out; it is for governing at all levels; it is for business, for academia, international relations, etc. But it is not for politics and never was for politics and never will be for politics. Politics, like poetry, makes its own rules and parameters and that is an accepted fact the world over. The graveyard of politics is filled with aspiring politicians with integrity.
Sorry, but I'd rather lose.
It appears that you already have, but don't try to take the rest of us with you.

This is the last one for awhile, I am geting tired of trying to educate you. It would appear to me that you haven't bothered to take the time to find out what is going on in your own country. You really should you know, before you lose it or maybe you are already taking spanish lessons. Make sure you tell these people that there is no illegal immigrant problem, I am sure they will be relieved to know that.

The answer to both is ignore them.We are!
Bush has totally dissed Fox. A former so called friend.
This is what I see and how I view the situation.
I believe that prior to 911, Bush was inclined to work a deal with Fox. Since then, the deal is off and Bush is responding to the peoples need for a secure border. 9/11 changed everthing. and for the better in many ways. I regret the the change is not fast enough for some, but the changes are being made.

You were doing o.k. until your last comment. Do you know me? If not, keep your personal attacks to yourself. Thank you and have a good day.

I just got an excellent free Video from American Border Patrol. I talked To Glenn Spencer and he promises absolute confidentiality when you fill out the order form.
He was taking the last load of his move to Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Quote from his mail out:
WORKING WITH RANCHERS
As has American Patrol for years, ABP will work with ranchers as Robert Barnett of Douglas, Arizona (featured in Time Magazine), to focus on how, when, and where illegal aliens are crossing out border. We will use video cameras and infrared technology to show, on a regular basis, how illegal aliens are violating our SOVEREIGNTY. (What would Americans think of a Webcam mounted on popular invasion ruotes? How many would log on to try to catch aliens invading their nation? Plenty.)BORDER PATROL TACTICS
Under the direction of Bill King, Ron Sanders, and other former Border Patrol officials, we will explain to the American people, on a blow-by-blow basis, how the battle for our borders is going. we ill tell them why illegal aliens are dying in the deesert and what we can do to stop it. We will tell them why illegal aliens continue to cross the border, even after they have been arrested up to fifteen time. We will show the American people how terrorits can cross our borders, undetected and undeterred. And, if they want to help their country, we will show Americans how to do it.
. This video is great instead of using talking points to show friends and neigbors and those in denial, that this is a dangerous and growing issue and needs to addressed in the upcoming elections.
Please give it a look-see!

This legislation is completely in accord with public opinion polls showing that the big majority of the American people want government to reduce the number of legal immigrants, to stop the irresponsible issuance of visas, to deport illegal aliens, and to use U.S. troops to guard our borders," stated Hansen. The Republicowards could hammer the Dems on this--if they weren't afraid of their own shadow.

Sorry, but I'd rather lose. I honestly believe that George Bush is a good man and wants to do what is right but he is listening to some very bad advice from his handlers.

If he were a MAN capable of being president, he wouldn't need handlers.

The only practical difference for me between Bush and Owlgore was that if Owlgore had been elected people at this site wouldn't be trying to convince me how brilliant he is. LOL!...Oh so sadly true. Around here (and on most talk radio) every major fu%$ up by the Republicans is thought to be part of a brilliant scheme to get the Democrats.

This is the cry of every fool who blindly supports a politician who lack integrity and is betraying him.

Then which Democrat would you like to see take Bush's place? If they didn't have a (R) or a (D) how could we tell the difference between their acts as elected officials is a better question.
To: madfly
I am aware of it. Since it has not happened yet, I await the results.

I honestly believe that George Bush is a good man and wants to do what is right but he is listening to some very bad advice from his handlers. In other words our president is a good man with no convictions, or a good man who can't think for himself.

------------------------
This is wild psychotic fantasy and delusion that is destroying the nation. In more than 49 years I have yet to see one of these brilliant schemes work. Bill Clinton acts like he is still president for $300,000 per night while Bush quotes Bubba's speeches. The Clintons and their ilk have been relieved from any threat of facing justice, as have the perpetrators of Waco. It is now a realistic expectation that accountability will not exist in the future. California is a suburb of Mexico City. Hillary has been tricked and punished to the point of being firmly nested in the U. S. Senate with a good chance at being president. Etc. etc. etc.
Ah, such crafty schemes and manipulations. But it requires a very sophisticated mind good at explaining away reality to see how well those schemes work against the radical left.

I do believe he is a good man. He just may not be a strong enough man. Those are two different things.
To: Jimer
You are attempting a rational conversation with advocates of a third party. They are disgusted with the Rs and Ds and with to bring our country more in line with the limey's who suffer from multiple party paralysis and can barely function. The lefties have taken advantage of this fact and pushed their agenda with remarkable success.
I prefer our current system where we have multiple opinions within a party and come to consensus. It seems to get things done while at the same time preventing sudden turns and/or paralysis.
It works for me.
To: WatchOutForSnakes
Better not let those sycophants over at "A day in the life of......" hear you say that.
