Wasn't Wolfson the lead counsel for Lambda Legal who pressed the lawsuit to recognize gay marriage in Hawaii and elsewhere?

Democratic Strategy: Create chaos and general mayhem and blame it on the Republicans to divert negative public attention on themselves. They're still trying to blame the recession on Bush, as well as many of Clintoon's foibles. Nevermind the fact that the democrazies supported Clintoon every step of the way.

Democratic strategy for 2002? Slander, race baiting and class warfare, turbocharged with massive vote fraud.

Next question?

You forgot the lies part. Such as, "the Republican Party voted a huge retroactive tax break for companies like Enron........fact that your incumbent Republican congressman voted to give $25 million to the Enron corporation retroactively.....

I think it was called a tax cut, that every tax payer received. Retroactively. It is a lie that anybody, Repub or Dem alike, voted to give Enron a tax cut.

Just so every one knows the Enron and $25M real story. Because of the alternative minimum tax, companies are not allowed to take legitamate expenses beyond a certain amount. This is to make sure the government gets a more predictable pound of flesh. The expenses they can't take get rolled over to next year and the next year and the next year if the circumstances don't change. It is something the government owes the companies but has chosen to defer payment until the future. In a recession, it is a good idea to make that future now, so as to put the companies back on their feet. The AMT hurts the companies the worst just when the companies are struggling from a recession or other down turn. The Republicans just said, give the companies what the government owes them by law, now instead of later.
