And what's going to be done about this.......? All together, now.....NOTHING! Bubba is never going to have to pay for the laws that he and his "wife" broke. I shouldn't even bother reading about this anymore, it's too depressing.

I am waiting for God to remove 'the-bill' and 'the-hill' from the face of this earth.
REVENGE IS MINE, SAITH THE LORD !"

ABUSE OF POWER!This is more the rule than the exception for this presidential embarrasment.

LA Times had the report yesterday. "The probe concluded that the former president and his administration repeatedly failed to properly check the backgrounds of people seeking pardons and sentence commutations. It also said the Clinton White House permitted a culture that provided easy opportunities for relatives and close associates of the president to make money on the side by lobbying for clemency and other presidential favors for convicted felons."

I hate to say it, but there's nothing new here. Though I don't feel worthy enough to make the 'Move along' post.;)

Congressional report says Clinton abused power by giving pardonsI'm shocked, shocked to find that abuse of power is going on in here!

"The report is filled with nothing but the usual partisan accusations, allegations and innuendoes when it comes to President Clinton," Clinton spokeswoman Julia Payne said. "There is no proof of any wrongdoing by the president in this report, although Lord know they try to make you think differently." "Other presidents have made controversial pardons but they were not subjected to a partisan investigation," she said.
HA-Ha! The de-spin-erator is going to have a field day with this crap:
"The report is filled with nothing but the usual partisan accusations, allegations and innuendoes proof of sleaze and high crimes when it comes to impeached former President Clinton," Clinton spokeswoman Julia Payne said. "There is no incontroversial proof of anyormous wrongdoing by the president in this report, although Lord (and every sane person) knows, they DemonRATS try to make you think differently."
"Other presidents have made controversial pardons but they were not subjected to an partisan investigation, because they weren't so blatantly criminal as Clinton," she said.
What I wouldn't do without my de-spin-erator.

If the Congressional Report had proven Clinton had "participated in mass genocide", John Conyers, Teddy the Drunken Cabby, and Sheila Jackson Lee would be the first to stand up for this "example of the politics of destruction" -- backed of course by the rest of the Democratic Congress and Senate.
In other words, ho-hum....

Any cases that may still have valid will NOT BE LOOKED INTO. NOTHING TO SEE HERE.And I feel much safer now.

However, federal investigators in New York have opened an investigation into whether any of the 177 last-minute pardons were offered in exchange for contributions. Why don't they save time and investigate whether any pardons weren't offered in exchange for contributions? Clinton kept saying the pardons were based upon the merits of the individual case. Let's hear some of the merits of the Rich case, for example. Clinton granting a pardon that would not benefit him personally would be like a thousand dollar hooker giving it up for free because she likes me.

I'm praying for the Republicans to gain control of the Senate so someone with cojones will step forward to offer a bill to strip the "great stainmaker' of his pension.
Unfortunately, they wouldn't dare.
And, you better be praying for a big Pub majority in the Senate, because if they end up only plus 1 or 2, a couple of Rino will pull a Jeffords and hand control back to Daschle.

Where do you get the concept that an ex-president can be re-impeached It's my own dream, don't know if it's theoretically possible or not. (Unfortunately, nothing is likely to be done by Congress or the courts).
However, the USSC has ruled that impeachment is pretty much what Congress makes of it (in particular, they refused to get involved when the Senate 'trial' was basically conducted by a committee). Also, there's no statute of limitations. And finally, would a bribery conviction in court stop his pension? If not, then I think congress would have to impeach.
It's amazing how much case law is a direct result of x42!

Where do you get the concept that an ex-president can be re-impeached by the House and tried and convicted in the Senate? He wasn't "ex-" when this happened. "Abuse of power" is an impeachable offense, even if there is no criminal action accompanying it. Since impeachment is a political and not a judicial activity, the toughest penalty it can proved is removal from office upon conviction.
Since the slimebag is out of office, yet the alleged offense occurred while he was still in office, conviction would result in loss of pension, loss of Secret Service protection, and a lifetime ban on all federal elected office.
The klinton krime kartel is too powerful to allow that to happen, but it still does my heart good to think that there could be another impeachment hanging over his head.
