You know, a lot of people who don't consider themselves religious still have principles when it comes to loyalty to spouses, not having orgies in the house, etc. You obviously dislike religious people for some reason, but you don't have to be religious to think that the VD's "lifestyle" was wrong, and that they were bad parents for carrying on like that under the same roof with their children.

It woudl depend on the term "interact". I assume my children interact with child molesters everday but I have no idea who they are. They can be their scout leaders, their pastor, the babysitter, teacher, relative. They can be just about anyone. I cannot control the potential actions of everyone my children contact. I can have some control over their environment. The primary control is not to let them be alone in private with anyone.

Yes...and it's worthy to note that it's obvious the detectives didn't give anything to the parents but kindness..per their own words.

I wouldn't be suprised to find out this guy had parential permission to be with the girl. The lifestyle (and maybe price) was right. Why not?

It's interesting to see that you don't or can't understand the difference between adults having sex with other consenting adults,and child rape. Like you, I live in San Diego. I listen to KOGO with some regularity. Interestingly, my thoughts have not been of the parents; they have primarily been about Danielle. About how incomprehensible it is that the beautiful, happy, innocent child we have seen in the home videos and pictures has ceased to exist in this world so suddenly. I also find myself wondering, without success, how any adult can bring himself to shed the blood of a child.
