This is a vanity...rarely post so I'm probably not doing this right but hubby (Mr. Dutchess) is having surgery tomorrow morning, he has an infection in the bone of his leg. It's not life threatening but serious non the less.... He turns 50 on Thursday...crummy way to celebrate. Anyway, would appreciate your prayers.

Consider it done . . .
James 5
13 Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.
14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Praying this morning!
To: dutchess
"According to your faith, be it unto you." (Matt 9:29)
Heavenly Father, this dear wife has requested Your divine help for her beloved husband. Answer her prayer, Dearest Lord, and return him to her whole and healed. Guide the surgeon's hands as they remove this diseased tissue, and direct all healthcare workers as they minister to him. Release him from any pain he may feel, Dearest Lord, and cause his body to regenerate healthy tissue in a very short period of time. Bless this couple with all manner of good things, and give them many more happy and fulfilling years together. Provide all that they need for every day of their lives. Extend Your blessings and salvation to each member of their family and all their loved ones.
Thank You Father! Of Jesus and through His mighty finished work I ask these things for the blessings and comfort of these, my brother and sister. Amen!

That was pretty cute Doug. I'll share it with hubby when he is more alert (and there are no nurses around LOL). He did well and is resting comfortably. Thanks again.

Thank you (EVERYONE) for the prayers and the bump. Mr. Dutchess did fine and is resting comfortably. The doctor is optimistic that they got all the infected bone. We'll know more next week but the worst is over. Thanks again! Freepers are the best!

Just found this thread, but you and Mr. Dutchess are in my prayers.
To: dutchess
Glad to hear he is doing well.
To: dutchess
Awesome news. Glad to hear it.
To: dutchess
Oh that's WONDERFUL news dutchess. You know of course that he's be a real pain when he comes home. Men make the worst patients. You'd better plan on spending the next week or so bringing food, finding the remote, bringing magazines, bringing cool cloths for his forehead, LOL.

LOL love your anology....I left today loving him and couldn't live without him...he spent the first 8 hours after he was home (as I waited on him hand and foot) saying how wonderful I was and couldn't live without me.... I have to admit I got alittle "pissed" at points...Jeese..I was up at 5:30. He got DRUGS while all I got was crummy coffee.... (Just kidding) Now....we're starting to raise the hair on each neck but still love each other and glad we made this through this. It's quite an experience!!!!!!!!!
