Well, they are inadvertantly half right here. There should be no school sponsored discussions of any sexual behaviors. But I doubt that is what they are aiming at.
I have just 16 words to say to that School Board chairman. I won't say them here.
It's sort of like the WB executives that got bent out of shape when Charlton Heston read the full lyrics from several Ice-T (Body Count) songs for stockholders.
These people defend the indefensible when they try to hold that proper decorum does not permit the materials to be presented in a rational discussion among adults and yet the target audience for the materials is juvenilles.

for the CFR fraud being cheerled by the Media as "the next Good Thing We All Must Go Along With & Do"-- but I'm wondering if it should include all attempts to stifle free speech.

CFR is poison, but so are other attempts, like this, to silence people.
"...If this presents a realistic look into the life of a child struggling with same sex desires then these children are seduced/molested at an alarmingly high rate and engage in dangerous/abusive sexual activity at a very young age. What's worse is that the adults who purport to care most about them (the editor of this book for example) present this sexual abuse as if they were tender "coming of age" stories. As if the children struggling with same sex desires are showing how healthy they are by engaging in sex with adults and by having sexual encounters regularly beginning at a very young age.
And, the message is clear, if "straight" kids don't want to be closed-minded, if they want to be "open" and "free" they'll mimic the homosexual sexual behavior and promiscuity related in these books.
In several stories intense sexual activity as a child is presented as normal and healthy, even child/adult sex is presented without question. Five and six year old's who regularly engaged in sex are described as children "who were willing" to explore their sexuality "to it's fullest extent." Many stories fondly recount a youthful sexual encounter with a much older man or woman. Sexual promiscuity and engaging in sex as a child/teenager is presented as "sexual freedom".
Heterosexual or "questioning" youth are encouraged to try same sex intercourse because, the Kinseyin theory is repeated over and over, "Everyone's really gay or bisexual." and "You won't know if you like it until you try it."..."

However, as the Parent's Rights Coalition discovered, this conference was about teaching children the unsafe mechanics of homosexuality. Following the conference, organizers denied claims of misconduct made by the Parent's Rights Coalition. Sounds like these school officials had their brains on! The kids probably already knew the words, anyway.
An excerpt from Centennial apologizes for allowing gay speakers by Tracy Jan, The Oregonian, 02/18/02
"GRESHAM -- Centennial High School officials apologized Friday for not allowing students to leave classes featuring gay and lesbian panelists as part of the school's annual diversity week.
About two dozen parents complained to the school that their children were forced to listen to discussions on homosexuality without first obtaining their permission.
Several speakers from Vanguard Youth Services, a Portland organization that offers programs for sexual minority youth, visited the high school's English, drama and health classes Monday as part of the four-day diversity week.
Students who felt uncomfortable during class said they were not warned about the topics and wouldn't have attended had they known.
"We didn't set an appropriate staging for this issue to be addressed in a right way," Centennial Principal Curt Heath said Friday. "I'm not saying this shouldn't be covered, but it does not represent our curriculum...."
Not too mention that without homosexuals, the market for colostomy bags would collapse.
