WASHINGTON Rep. Doug Ose (R-Calif.) said yesterday he'll seek a criminal review by the Justice Department of alleged solicitation of gifts by Bill and Hillary Clinton including $75,000 in china, crystal and furniture received in the ex-President's last weeks in office.
"We're going to refer this stuff down to the Justice Department and let the legal people make their determinations," Ose said after a hearing that capped a year of investigation into the $400,000 worth of gifts the Clintons allegedly received during their eight years in the White House.
In a statement, Bill Clinton's office condemned Ose's purposes as "transparently partisan."
Last February, the Clintons reimbursed benefactors for $86,000 worth of improperly received furniture and other gifts. They also returned to the National Park Service $28,000 in furnishings that had been intended for the White House and not them.

Smile, Barbara (Olson). It's just going to take a little time for the rest of the country to figure out what you knew long ago.

The Clinton's conduct and activities have no equal in American political history. Amen. Yet, to me, the tragedy is that some overlook the Klintoons piggish behavior, in effect, approving it.

I think the $75,000 and the $400,000 is just the tip of the Clintonburg; ask Hillary when she is going to pay back the money for her campaign flights, or car trips...those two
looted the government for eight years and are still doing it with their homes and far too expensive offices.
"transparently partisan" me arse! Crime doesn't pay Hill and Bill!

At long last, it sure looks like they've got 'em now...
I'll bet both Clinton's will start their respective terms in Leavenworth within the year.

those two looted the government for eight years and are still doing it with their homes and far too expensive offices. What about the rent they are charging the government for SS quarters at their NY home. It just about equals the payments for the Klintons multimillion dollar home. Why doesn't the government buy the property next door and cut x42 and hill out. In the long run it would be cheaper and save the taxpayer mucho dinero.
