I hope he keeps it. Free publicity for the site

I agree totally. Anybody that really knows marketing would NEVER send someone to a competitors place. Can you imagine a FORD dealer sending a customer over to the Chevy dealer to make fun of him? Democrats are morons; they forget basic strategy when trying to be funny. Too much for them to handle at one time, like chewing gum while walking.

They can't carry our jocks when it comes to humor OR political debate.

Agreed. An insult from the likes of these is a compliment.

um... I don't think I do either. Probably would be pointless since its easily undone. And wiping the site clean could get you into real trouble... best thing is probably to ignore it.

Now............who cares? The only way anyone can link to FreeRepublic, et al., is to type in those silly URL's. The only people who know the silly URL's are the juvenile Left. Like kids in a dark closet, they'll giggle at their inanity and smirk in solitude whenever their keyboards direct them to real discussion sites. The Left is truly pathetic.

"I'm delighted Democrats are reading my column!" she said. "I just hope their lips don't get tired."

Now THAT'S compasionate conservatism!

LOL!

Demoncraps dot-com is connected with David Lytel of Sherpa Consulting Group, SYRACUSE, NY. Now isn't THAT fascinating. Syracuse happens to be the small upstate NY city where DNC bigsht Terry McAwful grew up and got started in Demoncrap politics. He's involved--I guarantee it.

It's a dumb prank, as others have suggested. The bogus contact information used to register the sites is not a big deal either -- some registrars may pay attention if it were brought to their attention, but otherwise it's not going to raise eyebrows. It's common. If you raise a fuss, the registrar may ask them to give the correct info.

Here's the real problem, and I haven't heard it mentioned yet: The bogus names can be submitted to search engines and, depending on the search engine, the bogus name will be spidered and handled as if it were the real thing. When that happens, search engine results with "rightwingnuts.com" will show up in the same searches that give results for freerepublic.com.

That's malicious, and that's the thing that should concern people when this sort of IP pointing or "stealth redirection."

If you want action on this, your best shot is with whatever service these people are using to redirect the site. Democrats.com's registrar offers the redirection as a part of their standard registration package.

That's where you go. Bring a complaint to them specifying the malicious motive and the problem of search engines cataloguing the freerepublic site under the bogus name. Even if they haven't done the latter yet, once they do, it can take months to correct.

"Since Pat has now left the Republican Party for being too moderate, how much longer until he renounces his American citizenship and seeks asylum in Paraguay?"

Actually, I couldn't have put it better myself.

If "name-calling" is such a heinous thing, shouldn't we be looking in the mirror?

12 million? try more like upwards of 30 million. No exact figure is known. His attempt at liquidating the Kulaks in the late 1920's alone caused more than 20 million deaths through starvation and outright execution. 25 million died in world war II most at the hands of the nazis, many however were sent to their deaths because Smersh squads of the NKVD saw to it that no-one retreated in combat. We are not even counting the countless millions that died in the gulag system between the end of WW II and his death in 1953.

Numerically Stalin outdid even Hitler as a mass murderer. The only difference is Hitler targeted people because of their ethnic backgrounds. Stalin was not so choosy.

In case you have not heard or read, an FYI to all: G. Gordon L. was on a mission concieved by John Dean to remove pictures of his pretty new wife Maureen from the desk drawer in the target office-she was a very 'professional' person, formerly employed by the DNC to engage visiting VIPs & Mr. Dean wished no one else to know. He snookered BOTH his superiors & inferiors-Liddy had no idea-he thought he was on a political 'mission' & one of the Cuban operatives was actually sent by Dean on the REAL mission. Read the book 'Silent Coup' & learn about the real deal. Liddy has had Dean in court repeatedly to extract some measure of justice.
