GOVERNMENT ADMITS 1.8 MILLION E-MAIL FOUND AS A RESULT OF JUDICIAL WATCHS EXPOSING HIDDEN CLINTON-GORE E-MAIL RESTORED AT A COST OF OVER $12 MILLION
E-MAILGATE UPDATE
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, said today that the government, in a court filing January 9, 2002, has admitted that it found 1,844,242 e-mail from the Clinton-Gore White House. This e-mail has never been searched in response to subpoenas and documents requests from Judicial Watch, Congress, and independent counsels. The e-mail were restored at a cost to taxpayers thus far of $12,066,346. The e-mail, which is in the custody of the National Archives, must now be searched pursuant to court orders.
Judicial Watch, which is prosecuting the Filegate $90 million class action lawsuit on behalf of those whose FBI files were misused by the Clinton White House, first exposed the e-mail scandal in early 2000 through its client Sheryl Hall, a former top computer official at the Clinton White House, who testified that incriminating e-mail concerning virtually all the Clinton-Gore scandals had never been produced as they should have in response to document requests and subpoenas. Another Judicial Watch client, former White House computer contractor Betty Lambuth, also testified (along with others) that high-level White House officials threatened Northrop Grumman White House computer contractors to keep quiet about the hidden e-mail or face jail and firing. These threats occurred in the middle of the Lewinsky scandal. The scandal was the subject of a months long evidentiary hearing that included the testimony of the late Charles Ruff, John Podesta, and Cheryl Mills. The court is in now considering whether to commence criminal contempt proceedings. A decision is expected soon.
If not for Judicial Watchs heroic clients, this e-mail would have been lost forever. We are confident that the e-mail contains a treasure trove of information concerning Filegate, Chinagate, and, yes, even Enrongate. Any incriminating e-mail will be part of renewed Judicial Watch efforts to put the Clintons in jail, stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.
That is not fair. They may not have "won" any of their CIVIL suits but do you really think the whole purpose was to win a CIVIL suit? The thanks we owe Judicial Watch is that they doggedly used the CIVIL arena to expose the CRIMINAL misdeeds of the Clinton administration and DNC at a time when no one else was even trying. Starr and Monica were just a distraction to keep people from looking deeper ... to keep the public's attention away from the really serious stuff (treason, murder, election tampering, blackmail of Congress, etc).
Klayman is how we first learned about Chinagate and much we know about Chinagate. He is the ONLY reason we learned in Filegate that the Clinton's illegally acquired not just the couple hundred files they admitted, but at least a 1000 and perhaps 1000's of FBI files and were loading them onto DNC databases as well as taking the information HOME. Judicial Watch is how we learned about the willful destruction of emails to obstruct justice in all the other criminal activities the Clinton's and DNC engaged in. Klayman's effort are why we learned that the order to NOT autopsy Ron Brown's body came from the Whitehouse and JCS, AND that there was a second survivor reported to the Warren Christopher by Abe Sockowitz which the government never mentioned to anyone. And his efforts did not stop when Bush was elected. This is a case in point and would any of us know about the Riady non-refund if it weren't for Judicial Watch press releases?
And that is just the short list, there were many more CRIMES that were revealed as a result of Klayman's CIVIL efforts. Now whether Ashcroft does anything with that knowledge, AS IS HIS RESPONSIBILITY, should be the chief concern of Klayman haters and Move-On'ers. Otherwise, their hatred of Klayman is being used as an EXCUSE for the Bush administration ignoring the law. NO EXCUSES. Don't support Klayman now ... fine ... but ALSO make sure that Ashcroft does HIS job and investigates the crimes that Klayman and his staff uncovered.
Well I disagree with this contention. There CERTAINLY is enough evidence in the public domain thanks in large part to Klayman ... in matters such as Filegate, Emailgate, Chinagate, the Riady non-refund, the death of Brown, for the Bush DOJ to warrant an investigation. To say otherwise is to deny the FACTS. Instead, all we see are efforts in the Bush administration to shut those investigations that were on-going down AND MOVE-ON.
When the fact that ALL of the forensic pathologists involved in the examination of Ron Brown's body or who looked at the photos and x-rays of his skull say that he may have been shot and should have been autopsied is combined with all the other incriminating facts we KNOW in that case, don't you think an investigation should ALREADY be underway?
When Riady states in open court, under a plea agreement that requires he tell the truth or the agreement is off, that the Clinton campaign and DNC did NOT return the millions in illegal cash they got from him AS THEY CLAIMED, don't you think that is sufficient to warrant an investigation? Look at it this way. Either Riady is lying or the Clinton/DNC campaign officials lied and in either case SOMEONE should be in jail. But instead, the Bush administration appears to have just MOVED-ON ... ignored the apparent fact that the Communist Chinese tried to STEAL one or more US Presidential elections. That's NOT the sort of thing we should be IGNORING. Its suggests a deep corruption within the Bush administration TOO.
Sorry but I'm just hearing more DEFLECTION and EXCUSES from those attacking Klayman the loudest.
I tell ya what Old - review all the devastating allegations in this case and you get back with us:
See my post 41.

Unfortunately, I suspect that you are right.
All to hear Bubba wisper sweet nothings to Bimbos..
It's not Klayman's fault - he is doing everything he can. But unless the Powers That Be want justice, there won't be any.
You mean like a Constitution or something? Silly girl. It'll never fly...
No, the bottom line is that, thanks to Larry Klayman, we Americans know a LOT more about the corruption that ruled the Krinton administration than we would have without Klayman. The fault lies with Ashcroft and Junior. If they choose not to prosecute blatantly illegal Krinton activities, they won't be prosecuted.
And I suspect that that's how it's going to play. The left protects the right, and vice versa - it's all just Good Cop / Bad Cop anyway.
Well, the mainstream media will praise him for that at least. I wonder what the fanatical Bush people here will say if he does EP it? Should be fun either way...
