[history]
December 31, 2001 -- Could someone get word to Sen. Hillary Clinton that America is at war? Her pro-Bill mantra is not only tiring, it seems egocentric at a time when we must pull together as a nation ("Bitter Hill takes a spin on Bill's p.r. machine," Dec. 22). Hillary should stay focused on New York state and quit whining about her husband being "better" than President Bush.

This sort of euphoria is a defining characteristic of cults and totalitarian groups. It's like an insane adding machine. No thought is required, just insert a problem, pull a lever, and out comes "the solution," to be blindly adhered to come hell or high water. There is a sense of ecstatic bliss from the absence of any need for any higher cognitive function. It's kinda like being stoned, I imagine. It's an addictive substitute for thinking, and sensations, moods, and pathological reactions to immediate impressions replace the tools of cognition. I expect we'll see a lot more of it in the future.

Oh, yes indeed. There's little to them beyond an unsatiable lust for more power. It's what they have instead of a personality. They have the same thing that folks like Ted Bundy have, and little else.

"...I believe tinker toys might even make a comeback...and Lincoln Logs!..." I saw both, in packaging with a distinctly 50's~60's look, while shopping this Christmas season!

Methinks the lady doth protest too much. Hillary must be feeling the truth so damage her chance at the gold ring, in order to feel so compelled to spin it away.

"Final Days was sickening by the way." Then load up on the Pepto, brother. There's much more knowledge to be gained in the first book.
Barbara documents every claim she makes very carefully. Hard to discount this book.
To: sarcasm
Maybe she is just jealous because President Bush has done more since he took office than her husband did in eight years.Bingo! I think we have a winner here!

Got Barbara Olson's new book for Christmas and I'm about halfway through it. After reading it so far, and it was one of her opinions of them, they honestly think they are better and that the people owe them for the work they've done for this nation

I do not at all share the confidence of many on this forum that she will lose in 2004. Not when many who vote for her have no idea why they do so.And when you factor in potential voter fraud........

I have noticed a type of cathartic euphoria connected to it.

the only accolades or public mention, regarding the conservative President, is that his policies are against the environment? Not quite, now the democraps are trying to blame Enron on Bush and his oil friends. I don't think it will work because W's approval ratings are so high. They are going to shoot themselves in the other foot big time on this one.

dittohead, she probably has all of our names in her data base, put together with tax money, and probably updates it with tax money. When she becomes president we will be gathered together and put in a gulag or shot. She can't stand critisism. It's never their fault, remember? And we have the audacity to blame their 8 corrupt years in our house for the death of thousands and the current economic downturn. They are really spineless creatures, with a self serving intellect.

I would like to note that CNN, MSNBC, and FOX all reported that this is the second down year for the stock market. This means the Recession started under Clinton/Gore.

These letters are great & really tell it like it is. Were there an equal number of pro-clinton letters or were the ANY pro letters at all?

The reason her numbers stay static, I think, is because she preaches to the choir. Wherever and whenever she makes a speech it is before a group of people who have been vetted and will do anything she wants. The adoring presstitutes are of the same cloth. So whatever we read about this woman is from an adoring presstitute or from some canned literature she has put out. Also CSPAN and CNN have had her on their stations quite a few times, oh, and ABC, timmy asking her questions he probably sent to her before the "interview" so she could answer properly. I'm not saying the worman is dumb, but I do not think she is as bright as some of her adoring minions think. She's crafty, shrewd and lies like a rug to make herself out to be something she is really not.
