IsraelNationalNews.com) Police officials are now reporting with certainty that a suicide bomber detonated a very powerful explosive device in front of the Meztudat David (former Jerusalem Hilton Hotel) on King David Street, in the Mammilla section of the capital.

Jerusalem Police Chief Mickey Levy has confirmed the blast occurred outside the hotel, not inside are reported earlier. The bomb he reported was “very large” and contained steel nails and bolts to maximize the devastation of the blast.

Three persons were “very lightly” wounded according to the police commander. Other reports indicate five wounded.

The area around the hotel remains closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic as emergency personnel continue operating in the area.

Does not seem to be as bad as the others, it is raining and early in the morning so there are not too many people on the streets. Only one explosion so far. Sirens have tapered off so no too many wounded if any. The attacks last Saturday night had sirens solid for a half an hour. This may be a no injury attack.
