We need the stewardship of 5,000 Free Republic members to insure the continuation of the Free Republic Life Form!
Jim Robinson said in yesterday's post: "My projections are that our regular monthly expenses for next year will be running in the neighborhood of $22,000 per month, or approximately $264,000 total for the year. This means we will need to raise approximately $66,000 per quarter."
If 5,000 Free Republic members who believe in paying their own way and that no free lunch ever exists, pledge $5/month. Jim's goals and needs will be quickly surpassed!
5,000 good stewards of Free Republic pledging $5/month will total $75,000 per quarter. That would allow Jim/John a little breathing room!
Many of us donate more per month than that. So please don't reduce your donation. We just need 5,000 regular pledgers to make things easier for Jim.
Are there 5,000 good Stewards out there who can afford $5/month to keep alive the Free Republic Life Form?
One way to afford this is to cancel your subscription to your left wing fish wrap or bird cage liner. Donate half of that monthly cost to your favorite charity and the rest to Free Republic. If you do this, you remove your money from the enemies of America and invest it with the friends of America, Free Republic! That would be a double winner for America!
Become one of the 5,000 Freepers who believe that there is no Free Republic lunch and that only parasites want something for free! Sign up for $5/month on a monthly auto payment plan!
It has been great. Go back through and read the replies!
I guess that you and Howlin will be here tomorrow. I will be gone for most if not all of the weekend!
This concept seems easy for the good Freepers to grasp and we have done quite well with the $5/month pledge. Many have exceeded it here on the board and via private freep mails to me!
If we could make this concept a regular play on FR, it could ease a lot of the quarterly pushes!
To all who can and do contribute, thank you for that. I'd be lost without FR.
To all who cannot, thank you for your insight and articles. That's also a big part of what makes FR great.
It's been fun today and I think you came up with a GREAT idea. However, I don't think I can respond as fast as you did...........!!!
I checked the label, and sure enough in fine print, they had removed 50% of the caffine! That made it basically a decaf product.
So threw out what was left brewed a pot of Starbucks go do it coffee. Two cups later I was back to normal. I took a small thermos to my wife to save her life! That poor excuse for coffee will be returned next week!
I want to thank all who contributed and pledged a monthly donation to Free Republic.
The kind remarks by all made it a great day!
Thanks again to all. Please ping your buddies on Free Republic to come to this thread to pledge a monthly donation. They will feel better, the Robinsons will feel better, and we all feel better when Free Republic is strong and viable!
I'm out of here basically until Monday Morning! Everyone have a great week and thanks for your pledges. If you haven't pledged it is easy and basically painless!
We have 2 boys in Mississippi public schools. Regularly use FR to inject a dose of truth back into them to counteract their NEA programming.
This is the finest site on the web. We just can't express our thanks to the Robinsons for their service to our country. Hopefully, my HS Jr. will get that ROTC scholarship to Univ. of Alabama and realize his dream to be a fighter pilot. When he gets that scholarship we can re-up for a little more.
Not accurate you understand as it has been a hell of a mess, but it looks like the grand total so far is
$$8,8313.17
. in credit card donations. This includes multiplying the monthlies by three.
If we apply Million Freeper Math(1.2) we are at $9,975.00
.
