black militants pursue a religion that has traditionally served to enslave blacks.

Gee I wonder why that is?

[Including more than 350 million in America ...

Better re-tinker them numbers. If there are 350 Million Christians in America, but only 280 Million according to the census, did the 70 Million difference forget to send in their forms?

With the elite we have now it is possible sometime in the future, stranger things have happened. It would be somewhat like Vidal's "Messiah" a book worth reading in light of the latest religious flareups. The elite we have now preaches hate Marxist style and they offer nothing positive where as Islam for all its faults has some positive traits within its myths. But if it comes down to civilizational conflict between the two our elite can always say, "We hate whitey more."

Coverts to Christianity are led there through the Holy Spirit, Who reveals the Truth to them, then allows them the CHOICE.

Can the SAME be said for the islame 'religion'?

I'm sure there are all sorts of anti-Christian folks who will be bitterly disappointed that the religious fundamentalists who are literally trying to take over America are not the Christian variety and just happen to be the type who will be even more intolerant of them than they imagined the Christians would be.

So.

My finger hit the wrong button.

Big deal.

Or did it?

For -- as you instinctively plunged into the negativity that directs your "life" -- it got your attention -- and now you will go to your Alzheimer's knowing there are more than a quarter billion of us in America.

And that, given the evidence, we got it RIGHT!

Islam is a totally synthetic religion, somewhat akin to Scientology

Actually reminds me more of Mormonism

What have you Christians been doing?

A lot of the ones I know have been trying to convert each other.

Yair.

Glad you both noticed that the Mormons and all the Tom Cruises are totally consumed with envy-motivated hatred and rage and are really falling all over themselves to murder us all and to destroy Western [Human, that is!] Civilization.

As the islamics have been non-stop, insidiously, covertly, overtly, obsessively, persistently and insanely engaged since the middle of the seventh century!

How about recognizing islamism for what it truly is: the model for every one of history's blaspheming death and destruction worshipping pagan-heathen mass-murdering movements; most recently for every last one of the 20th-century's Marxist-Hitlerist fascists and other lunatic-left-wing Nazified bastards!

I know that there is a body of people out there who feel the way you do about the Old Testament of the Bible.  I respectfully disagree.

There is a part of the Old Testament that did die with Christ on the cross.  That portion was the ceremonial portion dealing with sacrificial services which pointed to a future sacrifice of the Lamb of God.  When Christ died on the cross the most holy place in the temple was opened by an unseen hand, wrending the curtain from the top to the bottom.  This signified that "the sacrifice" had been fulfilled.

The covenant that you keep refering too was the convenant (agreement) between God and man that He would purchase our souls back from Satan.  Christ, by living a perfect life, then dying on the cross did just that.  Thus the convenant was fulfilled.  Sacrificial ceremonies were therefore no longer needed.

God says that He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  Why would he nullify the accounts of creation, the Sabbath, the rest of the Ten Commandments and countless other important aspects of the Old Testament?

If I'm not mistaken, the Old and New Testament titles were probably a fabrication of the Biblical schollars during the King James era.  Perhaps you can point to a different derivitave.  But it's my opinion that when you start chopping up the Bible, respecting some parts and dismissing others, you've made a grave mistake.

You quoted:

NIV Hebrews 8:6-13
 6.  But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.
 7.  For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

Are you going to sit there and tell me you take this literally?  This is a metaphor.  Of course the ministry of Jesus is better than anything that came before.  But reading more into this is state that you accept that God made a mistake with the first covenant.  The God I serve doesn't make mistakes.

Yes, the Moslems would like to convert the US, and the US would like to convert the Muslems. We don't plan on doing it by force. Some of them seem inclined to do so.

What this all boils down to is the same problem we've been facing for decades. We are not managing immigration into this nation in a professional manner.

In the western part of the United States we are allowing an invasion to occur that will break away up to one third of the territory we once called the United States. We have allowed our nation to be overrun by third world populace, some of which hates us, some of which wants to kill as many of us as possible and almost all wish to change us rather than become us.

Until we get immigration under control, we are doomed.

Replace the word "Muslim" with "Democrat" or "liberal" and the rabid, psychotic rant is the same. We need to deport all left-wing trash at the same time we deport terrorist scum. Our American "toilet" must be flushed.

Although not responsible for the atrocities in September, these people share important goals with the suicide hijackers: Both despise the United States and ultimately wish to transform it into a Muslim country. However bizarre this goal, the killing of 5,000 Americans requires that it be noted and seriously worried about. The ambition to take over the United States is hardly a new one. The first Islamic missionaries from abroad arrived in the 1920s and unblushingly declared, "Our plan is, we are going to conquer America." Such hopes have become commonplace in recent years.

Seriously worried bump!

Yep, I agree. Churches have got to get off their apathetic backsides and do the work God has commanded us to do, to go into all the nations (ethnic groups) with the gospel.

It all boils down to PC doesn't it? I don't see it changing anytime soon. PC is so firmly entrenched in American society, that I am not sure if we can ever root it out. I hope we can.
