Fortunately most Americans see the stupidity of expanding gun laws when the main reason terrorists with such pitiful weapons as box cutters were able to overtake 4 airplane is that there were no armed patriots on board.

There is compelling evidence that terrorists are stockpiling high-powered weapons and ammunition obtained from unregulated gun markets in this country, such as gun shows. These weapons can be used against Americans here at home, smuggled abroad and resold at a profit to buy materials for mass destruction.

How about an e-mail bombardment to these people asking them to provide their "compelling evidence?" Make sure you make it sound like it's from a terrified soccer mom.

They really, really want to get those .50 caliber rifles banned, but for you hunters and sports shooters who still think you're off the hook, keep in mind that "high-powered weapons" includes your deer rifles and match rifles. They also want to register everything. Not just handguns. EVERYTHING.

(You know, we pro-self-defense types could be a very, very effective group if we'd just lose the conscience and the desire for honesty.)

This group is the poster child for what's wrong with the way some nonprofits are run in America. Or is Larry Klayman the poster child? Uh, nevermind. Anyway, there are over 700,000 nonprofits in America. And many of them are nothing more than political shills or devices to enrich their handlers.

So tell me, lying Sara, why they haven't been arrested. Do you perhaps have "evidence" that the rest of us don't? Since you're not sharing it that makes you an accessory.

This is our immediate agenda

I don't doubt it. What is your long-range agenda? America's gun owners know...it's called "disarmament".

Funny how Sarah wants to take our guns away, while terrorists are buying 'em to use against us. FOAD, Sarah.

While it might be loads o' fun to go down there and tweak Sarah and the rest of those whiners, I suggest that Maryland and Virginia gun owners just ignore them. The Mini-moms are a dying organization. Sarah issues these fatwahs of hers and no one cares anymore. The Dems are starting to realize that gun control is achieving "third rail" status in American politics. For the media, this makes the Mini-moms a non-starter... That is unless our side goes down there and makes the story interesting again. Think twice about a counter-protest. Is it worth it if it brings out the media? Or would it not be better to let the Mini-moms sink into obscurity?

Meanwhile, the National Rifle Association, with its deep pockets, continues to try to exploit the September terrorist attacks as a reason to buy more guns.

I guess I better go read my mail more carefully. I don't remember getting anything from the NRA that said, "In light of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks, you better go buy more guns right now." To the best of my knowledge, people (including me) took it upon themselves to go do it. It's obvious that Sarah Brady assumes that people only act if a group they're affiliated with tells them to go do something. The Sarah Brady followers probably are like that but that doesn't mean everybody is.

Gun Safety Measure #1: Point the weapon only at someone that threatens physical harm to you.

Gun Safety Measure #2: Take careful aim and smoothly squeeze the trigger. Don't jerk the weapon.

Gun Safety Measure #3: Repeat step two, until the attacker stops twitching.

If these dim bulbs want a safer America and they had two brain cells to rub together, they would understand that criminals DO NOT OBEY GUN LAWS in addition to property laws, murder laws, etc and so on...

Ah Sister Sarah, have you seen what these terrorists are using in the newscasts? AK-47s, RPGs and yes, stinger missles, GIVEN to them by other governments! Even your very own USofA. Not purchased but donated.

Why don't you lobby Congress and the Presidency to cease from these senseless and taxpayer subsidized acts of governmental insanity.

You can sell this crap to Soros and McKelvey but not the rest of us.

PS: Please tell me Sarah of the gun show where I can find these products so easily? Christmas is just around the corner ya know.

"In fact, the day before terrorist pilots were committing suicide by crashing jetliners into American buildings, Ali Boumelhem was being convicted in a Detroit courtroom of conspiring to illegally ship shotguns, assault weapons, ammunition and other items bought at Michigan gun shows to Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.

This is why the Brady Campaign is aggressively pushing for new legislation to add three gun safety measures to anti-terrorist efforts being undertaken by Congress and the Justice Department."

So, the existing laws have obviously worked if this guy has been convicted. But we need more laws......

Makes sense to me...........fools exploiting the loss of 6000 folks to further their propoganda.

I believe the word for was accidently inserted as a typo.

I'll bet there is no "anonymous doner" matching donations. Anyone care to take that bet?

These people are obviously in dire straights, and will do anything to keep their idiotic cause from collapsing altogether.

IMO the real reason their funds are drying up is because all of those moms are budgeting that money for firearms to protect their families since 9-11. Reallity is probably the biggest hinderance to idealism.
