To certain extent, I think this power grab was also behind OKC, Waco, and the 1993 WTC attack.

The method of operation is the same.
Someone MAY not have ordered -or allowed- 9/11 to occur, (as in WTC93 and OKC)
but the legislation was written up and WAITING for it -or something like it- to happen.
Since everyone in power is ignoring the possibility, I'd have to say it is likely to be the case.
The power-grab has been successful so far..
It will be interesting to see what developes.

[LOL! Ironic, isn't it?]
Irony is good for the diet...and the digestion.
Give a point, get two points back.

Well, you know I do get tired of hammering on the same old stuff repeatedly- corruption, the clintons' near-infinite duping of America, the dangers of giving government too much power, why people are better off with more freedom, information, & responsibility, rather than less...

But I keep telling myself that if this opens the eyes of just one more person, and they then spread that questioning of the status quo to one more person, and so on, maybe it will do some good.

There is a subtle change in the "national conversation"-- for example, when I was little, the only people who questioned the saintliness of Franklin Roosevelt were my parents... and it was done in whispers, because in this formerly 80% Dem community, FDR was regarded as a God. Yet today, at least on the web, that "saintliness" is badly tarnished, if not downright tatty and shopworn.

My two somewhat Libertarian nieces keep telling me, "Thanks, Uncle John, but I'll get my own news...." and you know what? That's great! They get on the web & do their own research- and I think they will do fine by doing that, even if they reach different conclusions than I do. At least they are thinking for themselves and questioning what's being told them.

I feel the same way. Your nieces learn more from you than they know. Keep it up!
