This has been a rough season in these parts. I actually had a look at my front and back yard for a half a day since 26 December. We have been covered with snow for 2 months, and just when you think it might all clear away, another 6 inches or more. Up to a foot tonight is being forcast.

Trees in my side yard.
My front yard/street. It's snowed at least 2" since then, maybe more.

It really is pretty. It's warming up, so maybe it will melt some. But they say it's going to get cold tonight. I really don't want to miss school tomorrow.
Kathy, don't worry...lol...I won't overdo it. Maybe my neighbor's kids will come over and want to do it for a few bucks. That's been known to happen.

Good Afternoon troops!! Good Afternoon everyone! Early dismissal in school today, with a huge possibility of a snowday tomorrow, as a snowstorm heads my way. Yes!! Here is today's humor attempt!
A musical director was having a lot of trouble with one drummer. He talked and talked and talked with the drummer, but his performance simply didn't improve.
Finally, before the whole orchestra, he said, "When a musician just can't handle his instrument and doesn't improve when given help, they take away the instrument, and give him two sticks, and make him a drummer."
A stage whisper was heard from the percussion section: "And if he can't handle even that, they take away one of his sticks and make him a conductor."
