I can't believe the president can cut veterans benefits but spends our tax dollars to rebuild another country. We should take care of our own before taking care of others. Wasn't it our veterans that took care of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and big oil? Did they ever pay a nickel for what we did for them in the Gulf War?

Oil Money and Our Veterans

When are we going to see some of this oil money? Our tax dollars are rebuilding this country and cutting benefits for veterans. Didn't our veterans save the big OPEC countries in the Gulf War. We never saw a dime from the Saudis or Kuwaitis. What are the chances we will ever see any iraqi oil money?

Why doesn't OPEC kick in some money to take care of our veterans? Wasn't it our veterans who saved them back in the Gulf War? What about the iraqi oil. They should be paying for some of this war.
