Reagan was a limited gov't conservative, not an anarchist libertarian. Big difference.
So the answer to the question in the title is an emphatic 'no'.

Hey Travis, how about this:
"If you analyze it, I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom - and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is. I think that libertarianism and conservatism are traveling the same path."
Ronald Reagan
At the least, it'll start a conversation; so far they're all just sayin' "No"...

Reagan would declare Ron Paul illegal and begin bombing in 5 minutes.
Reagan was far from non-interventionist. Ask the Sandanistas. Ask the former Soviets. Ask Ron Paul if he would have installed Pershing 2’s and ground-based cruise missiles in Europe to challenge the Soviets. No, that would have been none of our business. We would have made the Soviets mad at us. It would have been our fault.
Ron Paul will never be the commander in chief of my United States.

He got the chance to in 1988 - anyone know how he voted?

It is my personal belief that if Reagan were alive and living in Iowa today, and he had to choose among the Republican presidential candidates, that he would likely choose the man the GOP establishment and national media have written off -- Congressman Ron Paul. Nonsense. Paul is basically running against the Republican Party, and Reagan would have had no part of that.

The idea that Reagan would vote for a guy who enables the Troofer community is perhaps even more insulting than anything the Left has ever written about him. Towery should be ashamed.
