Arinze ping
May the rest of the group have one too, please. This answers a lot of the questions we've been wondering about of late.

saw in one place -- I will not tell you where -- where they staged a dance during Mass, and that dance was offensive. It broke the rules of moral theology and modesty. Those who arranged it -- they should have had their heads washed with a bucket of holy water! [laughter]
My parish had liturgical dance last Pentecost (the dancers appeared not just once but several times during the mass!). Cardinal Arinze expresses exactly my reaction. I hope this guy is papabile.
To: drstevej
Cardinal Arinze is very papabile.

Arnize does seem to be a cool dude. Maybe once I have cleaned house and Mahoney's just a bad memory, I'll abdicate to him.
He seems to nice to kick butt. That's where you need a Calvinist!

I like the dude. Bet he would enjoy Free Republic. He could certainly hold his own here.

A good successor to His Fishiness indeed. :-) Will Mahony be "taken care of" in a PPV environment? The revenue would be quite useful. No indulgences please...

Mahony be "taken care of" in a PPV environment? I'd pay per view for that one.

***Will Mahony be "taken care of" in a PPV environment?***
Absolutely. It will easily cover the expenses of settling with the victims of sexual abuse. A win on all fronts!

Excellent! And his cathedral has a convenient plaza.......
To: Unam Sanctam
Arinze is definitely papable. The question, though, is up to the Holy Spirit.

The trick to Mahoney is not to stand next to him in case lighting strikes.

ROFLOL! Your Fishiness? Safety consideration for the Papal Booth: A flame resistant screen with a lightning rod attached to the heretic. ;-)
To: CARepubGal; Desdemona
Perhaps surgically implant a steel rod in Mahoney's back (he needs a spine anyway) and send him to Tampa (the lightning capital of the world).
He'd be a shishkabob within a week.
