May I ask why you think that the KJB is what you claim.

The King James Version(AV 1611) is the sword with the sharpest blade. I personally know people(myself included, I used to read the NIV and when I still read it I still had many of the problems I had before I was saved. After reading the King James Bible daily for about a year and a half now, I don't lose my temper as much as I used to and I am becoming less and less emotionally dependent on food.) whose lives changed more radically from reading it more than they would have if they read some street language version. There has to be something to it.

Your problem is not the version you are reading, it is a question of obedience. To base your support for one version over another on something as subjective as your personal experience is really farfetched. In reality, you are ascribing almost magical powers to the version of the Bible you read. God has honored the reading and studying of the NIV. I have a hard time believing that you are more obedient when you read the KJV than when you read the NIV. Please...!
BTW - I read neither. I use a combination of the NASB and the Hebrew/Greek texts.
