Miracle Cure: Priest's recovery brings sainthood to Polish nun
By Caryle Murphy/The Washington Post In 1995, the Rev. Ronald P. Pytel, just 48, had resigned himself to an idle life and early death. His heart was so damaged that simply walking made him winded. His complexion was pallid, his weight a gaunt 140 pounds. His quality of life, he recalls one doctor saying, "wasn't worth a plug nickel." But the pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Baltimore, like many of his parishioners, had long been devoted to Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun and mystic who died in 1938. At a healing service in October 1995, he and a dozen church members were praying to her for his health when Pytel fell to the floor and, although conscious, couldn't get up for 15 minutes. "I could talk, but I couldn't move a muscle," he recalled. "It was as though I was paralyzed." When he finally stood up, he felt so fit he began laughing. Nowadays, the blond Pytel has the rosy cheeks of a choirboy, weighs a hearty 170 pounds and swims with abandon. His pumping machine is so robust he jokes of having "the heart of a 19-year-old." He and his parishioners call what happened a miracle. And so does the Catholic Church.

You are too funny for words. What scripture would that be now?
Here's one for you and since you have the complete Word of God at your fingertips, I won't bother referencing it for you.
Is there no God in Heaven that you should pray to dead people?
LOL.
Scripture doesn't mention you being at the Last Supper and Peter warned you that you are too ignorant to interpret Scripture on your own.
Here's one for you and since you have the complete Word of God at your fingertips, I won't bother referencing it for you.
Is there no God in Heaven that you should pray to dead people?
I've asked one of your fellow liars to provide a reference from Scripture that those in heaven are dead and she can't, so how about you, liar? Those Saints and angels who place their prayers at the feet of God are dead? Is that the nonsense that contradicts Scripture that you are spouting? Did Elijah and Enoch die after being taken to heaven while alive and if so where does Scripture tell us that? What happened to those saints who were resurrected following Christ's resurrection? Did they die a second time? Where does Scripture say that?
Where can we find the false man-made doctrine you subscribe to, in Scripture, liar?
Better to have us all think of you as a gullible fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt, liar.
That's another lie, sweetheart. Keep on tap dancing.
1 Corinthians 15 doesn't speak of those saints who already have been resurrected following Christ's resurrection. Where are they? Did they die again? Where does Scripture provide the answer? Are the Saints and angels in heaven who place their prayers at the feet of God dead? What are those angels and Saints praying for since they are free from all sin? If Elijah and Enoch were taken to heaven alive is it your claim that they then died? Where does Scripture say that? 1 Corinthians does not say that those in heaven are dead. One more time, where does Scripture say that those in heaven are dead? If you can't provide an answer then just admit it.
I hope your parents didn't pay a large sum for your Catholic education, because they were cheated out of their money.
Do you only pray to the OT saints?
I said in an earlier post scripture is silent on those that came out of the graves ..but Revelation seems to indicate they are in heaven
Are those the only Saints you pray to??
Your words display your heart...(you need a new one)
I have given you the scripture and you do not like it.....
Hey how do you know the ones you light candles to , do novenas to ...put flowers in front of are even IN heaven?
That letter really says it like it is, I think. The implications are frightening. I think the orthodox know which way the wind blows, so to speak.
I can't write too much now and my thoughts are scattered but I think the orthodox will be mightily used by God (hope it isn't more martyrdom). I pay very close attention to what they are saying. They have a little more freedom to speak openly. The catholic church is like our government leaders, pc in these matters concerning the Muslem threat. The orthodox will tell it like it is . . .
Sometimes I wish I had investigated the orthodox before I became catholic.
Quite honestly, I think the Christian population will have been decimated just prior to Our Lord's return.
next time ask first - Ma says thats MY job !
I like this and what you say is true. It sad we can't discuss our diferences and rejoice in our common ground. There is too much combativeness here. It is spoken my way or hellways.
So many here have the same flaws as the rest of us making all these Judgements. And when called on it they are proud to think they are totally depravted, instead of cleaning themselves up and walk the best they can in the ways of the Lord.
But to do that, they would have to treat those they disagree with, with the spirit of the Lord and for some reason they dismiss that, even though it is a commandment in the Scriptures!
Let's see. So we had Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers. Then God says don't add any, so I guess we're stuck with just those.
Do you know where else God says not to add to His word? BTW those books are enough to preach the gospel from...they contain the message ......if that was all I had I could teach the cross of Christ with them
He never did check with me Rev:>)
How are ya?
Has Woody aka, the thread killer added yet another victim to his list?!
