My son Michael

My three year old son Michael died this morning at 3 a.m. He had been experiencing high fevers for over a month and has been in the hospital again for the last few days. The doctors were unable to determine the cause of his illness and had contacted many others to review the many tests they had run on him.
Though he received very good medical care, his little heart just stopped beating and wouldn't start again. I know he is in the arms of Jesus, but I just don't understand why this has happened.
Please pray for me, my wife, and my other children. I don't know what we are going to do. We are all so upset. The doctor at the hospital gave my wife an injection of a sedative to calm her down. I'm feeling really desperate. God gave us such a beautiful boy, and now He has taken him away from us. I don't understand. Please pray for us.

Prayerful bump for Michael and His family!!

My heart goes out to you and your family. I don't have words to help you at this time, only the Comforter can be there for you and help you through this terrible tragedy. Please don't give up your faith. You will see your precious angel again someday, in that knowledge we have our hope and can continue on. Your other babies need you right now, so please try not to shut them out without realizing it. I'm so sorry.

I just learned of your loss. Words fail us, but the Lord does not. From my own experience, you will never, ever forget your little son and the potential of a life lost, but the Lord will bring other blessings into your life to lessen the hurt.
But for the rest of your life when someone tells you of an occurrence like yours, the loss of your little son will spring to life anew in your heart and afresh. But that is to the good. It will give you a sensitivity to the similar loss of others and allow the memory of your little one to live on in your heart for the rest of your life.
But for him, the fevers and the hurts are over and the Lord Jesus Christ will hold him and protect him from all harm. May God bless, protect and preserve your little one both now and evermore. Moreover, may He also put His loving arms around you and your wife and his siblings at this time.

God must see your heart breaking. He's given you the greatest sorrow on earth.
But He will comfort you in knowing you will see Michael's sweet face again.

Thought of you and your family and little Michael all day again. God Bless.

I'm so sorry that there's nothing to "give you" to help. I can't even imagine.
All I can think of is: Hold your family close. I worry that such a horrendous load to bear might, if not considered, weaken your family ties: I pray that it will strengthen them. It seems to me that your son is still of your family, and to weaken that would be to weaken his place, but to strengthen it would keep him "warm" within your family's love.
I believe entirely that your son is in a gentle, entirely loving place. I also believe that the suffering of those who are left behind must seem unbearable. I am so certain that you will be with your child again.
For now, all I can imagine is that you need to hold your family closer than ever.
I wish some words would help you. I hope I've said nothing to add to your pain. For what it's worth, this stranger's heart is with your family.
A stranger's love, Bev

I don't know you, but I've been haunted by this story for days. My prayers are with you. I cannot imagine a greater horror. God Bless your little angel.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious son. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you strength and peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the Peace that passeth understanding comfort you all. We may not know why God allows certain things.....but your little boy is happy and shall never experience the pains, sadness, and sickness that we who live must experience. And if your little one could speak to you, he would tell you to smile and be happy, for he is with the Lord and in a better place. We remain sad at the loss of the joy his presence would have given you.....but he truly is in a better place. I could not imagine your pain, and I would not want to lose my children either, even though I do believe they would also be in a better place. But you shall be rejoined. This shall pass, as all things here are but temporary. May God bless you and comfort you, and may you feel His loving arms around you, each one of you.

We feel such terrible loss so deeply and ask why God takes such a young life from his loving parents. It is a reminder, painful as it is, that mother and father are custodians of these little souls whch are truly His.
I have found comfort in the knowledge that whatever the suffering we endure in this life, it will be seen to be pale and inconsequential when compared to the glories of what God has prepared for his faithful ones when we and our dear ones are reunited
My prayers are with you and your wife.
