Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Psalm 85:1-13 O Lord, You showed favor to Your land; You restored the captivity of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of Your people; You covered all their sin. Selah.

You withdrew all Your fury; You turned away from Your burning anger. Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your indignation toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not Yourself revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

Show us Your lovingkindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation. I will hear what God the Lord will say; for He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones; but let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Lovingkindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Truth springs from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. Indeed, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its produce. Righteousness will go before Him and will make His footsteps into a way.

Father,

Thank You for the privilege of living in this country where we have a say in our government. Tomorrow is Election Day. We ask for Your favor and mercy once again. Please put it in the hearts of Your people to get out and vote and to vote for godly principles and platforms. We ask that Your favor would be on all the candidates who are running who are either Your children or advocate for the rule of law, for justice, and for godly principles. Please sweep out of office all the corrupt politicians and judges. Remove them by any means you deem necessary.

We ask for truth, honesty, and integrity to be in the voting process and let Your peace be on all the polling places.

Please, in Your mercy, give us the leaders we need, not the ones we deserve.

Again, we know it's only a reprieve, but we're asking anyway. Let the work You have for President Trump continue unhindered by giving us a House and Senate that will cooperate with him.
