I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness - 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Dear LORD, You have not blessed our Nation and the Nation of Israel at this point, with democracy and freedom that we may "please" ourselves, and achieve some kind of personal gain from You. It only GRACE and GRACE alone that we are still free to worship You, and serve mankind. It only GRACE and GRACE alone that we are free to hear the GOSPEL, the Salvation of our Souls, and to rejoice in what YOU have done.
Both our Nations what to pride ourselves into declaring we are a righteous nation but we are but fooling ourselves when our Nations are more concerned about who will win and who will get the "blessing" from God, all the while our Nations still live in deep seeded sin and rebellion.
The day You lift GRACE freely given not only from a Nation, but from an individual, and let evil run its course, what will the people do when this type of tribulation is what they will be facing, not some problem in their lives because of bad governing or divided loyalties between Nations, allies, parties, or whatever.
"Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things. No one calls for justice; no one pleads his case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments and speak lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil . . . Isaiah 59:1-4
LORD, even between our so called "Republican" Party there are those who still hold office for personal gain and profit, not caring an iota about what is Right and Good, not only for our Nation and people, but IN YOUR EYES. . . . "The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace." Isaiah 59:8
"The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, He was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so His own arm worked salvation for Him, and His own righteousness sustained Him. " . . . Dear GOD, But for the GRACE of GOD. Thank You LORD, that in Mercy and Grace and Love, in the FREEDOM You continue to place not only upon America but Israel to seek YOU, to Repent, to Turn from out wicked ways, and to receive the GIFT of Salvation and Eternal Life, which alone is what now, in these last days, matter to utmost. Time is running short, Salvation is at hand, TODAY is the the DAY of SALVATION. May it be in abundance for all our people individually and eternally, as we pray for our families, our friends, our neighbors, our leaders, and the Peace of Jerusalem. AMEN.

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
Amen, Jeanbl

Today the Virgin stands in the church, / and with hosts of Saints, and invisibly prays to God for us. / Angels worship with Hierarchs, / and Apostles rejoice with Prophets, / for the Theotokos prays to the Pre-eternal God for us.

By sharing in the ways of the Apostles, / you became a successor to their throne. / Through the practice of virtue, you found the way to divine contemplation, / O inspired one of God; / by teaching the word of truth without error, / you defended the Faith, even to the shedding of your blood. / Hieromartyr Gregory entreat Christ God to save our souls.
